    Lightbulb Agmatine with carbs

Why does one have to consume agmatine with a high CHO meal? I typically take 1g pre-wo and just drink some sugary ass juice to get the carbs. Just curious as to why this needs to be done. Also thinking of stacking some bulk CM (6g) pre-wo with it. This needs to be taken on an empty stomach so I dno how I would dose that out. Any ideas? Currently taking BA (2g pre 2g post) as well. Preesh on the advice.

CM doesn't need to be taken on an empty stomach. I would do 3g pre, 3g Intra in regards to that.

Normally one consumes it with a high CHO meal because of the nutrient partioning effects of Agmatine and it provides a better pump.

Daycrawler answered it well. Instead of sugars, look in to something like fruit + peanut butter and some toast. I've found that carbs from breads does wonders for my vascularity on agmatine, where as simple sugars has not produced much of an effect. Bulk CM is a great idea. I take 6g about 15-20 minutes before my workout as CM hits your system pretty fast. An empty stomach is preferred. Agmatine i take about 45 min with a pre workout snack which is usually: apple/banana with peanut butter + almonds + protein shake or half a pb&j sandwhich.

Wouldn't it be a bad idea to consume fats prior to a workout be detrimental to digestion? As far as I know fats slow down digestion thus leaving more blood in the stomach and less in the muscles? That is my reasoning behind the sugary stuff at least. Id love to know your thoughts. Either way, I agree that a complex carb like some WW bread or something similar would be more beneficial.
