Happy Easter everyone!
Kinda off topic I'm sure, but I feel the need to announce that for my first winter in Edmonton, I have very little to complain about. It was amazing! Hopefully the trend doesn't carry over into summer and we just have a mild season all year round, ha. I plan on wearing summer dresses and spending as much time at the lake as possible, so it'd better be nice!Strive for more.

I'm from a really small town and was petrified when I first moved here. But after a few months here, I find I really like it. Kind of ugly, but it's easy to get around, traffic while not great, isn't the worst in the world and comparetively to places like Van, it's super slow moving. While I'm not committing to spending the rest of my life here, I wouldn't be upset if that happened.
Yeah, we got a snowstorm a couple days ago that pretty much stopped traffic, haha. Gone today though. I think the whole country got off easy this year.Strive for more.

Yes condo fees are on top of that at $205/mth. However my condo fees do include heat and hot water as well as property maintenance, underground heated parking, fitness centre, storage room, on site super, etc. I am only responsible for anything that happens inside the condo like wall repair, appliances. Condo fees cover anything inside the walls and the exterior. So if I came home to a major window leak or something, that is the condo associations responsibility to repair window and damages associated to it.

Sherwood Park is a little more expensive and is kind of an aging community, at least according to the people I've spoken to who live there. Nice enough place, I worked up there and am taking my course there right now. It's nice that it's not right in the city.
Never been to Fort Sask, so have no input on it. Have no plans to go to Fort Sask, since men I dislike live there, bahaha.Strive for more.

Sherwood park is a lot nicer, with a lot of newer construction going on. It can be a lot more expensive though. Ft Sask is a nice place about 15 mind from the most north part of Edmonton. Where as Sherwood park is approx 15 mins south and east of the city.
Ft Sask is a small place but can be nice if you want a more simple life. A lot of really rich people live in Sherwood park, so sometimes it can be a little snobby.PreSurge = Pre WO.

Happy Easter Canucklers. Not sure if anyone is watching the Masters, I only get to watch the leaderboard while I am at work but man Phil sure had a great day yesterday and brought himself up substantially in the standings.
