Seriously, everyone keeps saying "hit lower, hit lower" blah blah. You and I both know very well if he puts a helmet in McCoy's chest and plants him, he is penalized and fined. If he hits him in the legs he is fined and penalized. Just make a rule that says you can't hit a QB hard. Everyone will bitch about it, but at least then everyone will know what to expect.

You cannot hit a quarterback anymore unless he is in the pocket with the ball in his hand....and even its a toss up

that wasn't even the first helmet to helmet hit in that game, but it's the only one that

a) was penalized
b) resulted in additional punishment
c) resulted in a fine/suspension

Example: Rashard on the goal line. That hit got all sorts of accolades and was much more vicious.

its okay when you're a runningback.

not okay when you are london fletcher and use just your shoulder pad.

many go overlooked. its at the discretion of the refs. Some ref's just suck more dickk than most and obviously high profile players get more attention called to them.

this wouldn't have happened if he was a white LB
