been thinking of drinking some milk post workout for my post workout shake but after doing some research ive found that lactose is made of 1/2 glucose and 1/2 galactose and seems like galactose only fills liver glycogen and not muscle glycogen. so would someone like to inlighten me on if galactose really only fills liver glycogen or does it fill both. is milk actually good postworkout?

If you think much harder you may have a stroke. But on a more serious note:
1) Immediate post-workout food not necessary outside of extreme conditions.
2) Why wouldn't milk be good? What constitutes a good post-workout food?
3) Do you know the liver, and subsequently liver glycogen, does in fact have an anabolic role? All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.
