Dependent on the amount of creatine one uses and the overall food intake, 2 gallons (8L) is often fine. Nothing wrong with that for a bodybuilder. Very common actually.
You get used to it. Give your body time to adjust, like anything.
You will be going to the toilet a lot more often though regardless, seeing as though you're creating an increase.advertising/self-promotion not permitted

Over the summer, I drank three gallons a day because I was doing hours of cardio in the hot sun and sweating obscene amounts, and I was cutting so I used water to make myself feel bloated and discourage myself from eating when I had already hit my caloric target for the day. I still drink around two a day and I don't supplement with creatine (or anything else for that matter).
There is no reason why you necessarily "should" drink a gallon or more a day. It's a personal needs and preferences thing. My guilty pleasure: excessive cardio.
Progress towards the 1000 lb club: 945/1000
Bulking until I hit 1000. I don't care if it takes a 40 pound weight gain. No more pussyfooting around.

This.
I'm not a heavy lifter...hell, by the time I get to a body I'm happy with 'maintaining', I'll probably be 1/8th of the average member's ideal.
But I have to admit, I love drinking water. I feel much better downing close to a gallon a day, and you DO adjust.
And it says something about your body too.
Not Enough water=Apple cider Vinegar (Deep, transluscent)
Better Water Intake=Apple Juice (Slightly transparent, still rich colour)
Ideal= White Grape Juice (Slightly coloured, filmy/transparent)
you want some water with that water=You might as well piss into another water bottle because that's basically warm water coming out of there.

As the last few posts have mentioned, you adjust. And pay very close attention to Cohaku's urine color description, pretty accurate. Clear does NOT equal good.
Also, during the summer I'll drink damn near 2 gallons of water a day, mainly cause I work outside most of the time. During the winter, its around a gallon.
And its not that hard. Considering 8oz's is dumped from my gallon into a shaker cup for my pre-workout supps, and an additional 8oz post-workout shake in the morning. I also drink from the gallon during training. Having said that by about 8-9AM I'm down to just over half a gallon left.
And as was previously said, I piss at normal peeing intervals, with a slight yellowish/neon green color. The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and hear all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds. ~Henry Rollins
