Hey everyone,
So my three options for hydrolyzed whey protein are ON Platinum Hydrowhey, Dymatize ISO-100, and SAN Platinum Isolate. Platinum Hydrowhey has gotten great reviews, but for the same price I could go with the Dymatize or SAN and get double the servings. Can anyone clue me in on which is the best in terms of making muscle gains and flavor? Is it worth it to shell out the extra $ for the ON?
Is there anyone out there who thinks Hydrolyzed Whey is just a complete waste of money and I should just stick with regular whey?
Thanks, looking forward to hearing the responses!
P.S. For anyone who recommends SAN, do you know anything about the Strawberry Yogurt flavor?

The reason for using a hydro protein should be mostly focused on the quick acting nature and ease of digestion which is something of an advantage around workouts. So intra-workout is the best time for this, when you don't want blood flow taken from muscle for digestive purposes ... which would happen with a typical protein source. For this to work well, you require a high level of Di and Tri peptides, which are more readily taken up by working muscles that are receiving high levels of blood flow. Most hydro proteins on the market fail to state the level of Di and Tri peptides unlike something such as Pepto Pro which is a leader in this regard.
Bottom line, a hydro protein rich in Di and Tri peptides such as Pepto Pro can prevent stomach issues for many and are quite suitable around workouts. They act fast and are easily digested. It's one of the reasons we decided to use Pepto Pro in our intra-workout Strive. At other times of the day I would personally focus on a quality CFM Whey isolate/conc. that you enjoy and trust. I personally enjoy Kaizen Naturals.
