Got my Hermes samples the other day. Am I the only one that is reminded of household cleaners by TDH and the Jardin one? The citrus just makes me feel like it took a bath in lemon pledge or something. I do like TDH though, its an interesting scent and I find myself smelling myself quite often when I wear it.

I don't know about curry, but M smells exactly like Divine L'homme Sage to me.

My Varvatos Artisan sample is 1.5mL. So about how much of that would be 2-4 sprays? I don't wanna be walking around with the equivalent of 10 sprays on :P

Duro is really linear and doesn't develop much, you get the same dark wood spicy leather accord for its insane duration. not a big fan of this one. Black Afgano is boss, very dark woods with smoke and incense. IMO the best in the Na****tto line.

you could e-mail company reps and ask for samples although it's not guaranteed. doesn't hurt to try though. you can also buy some off e-bay. careful as it could get addicting lol

I've always wanted to buy Amouage Reflection. I can't justify spending much over $100 on cologne though... Much less $250.

La Nuit is my choice for a safe blind buy from that group. I just got some from stiffdogg06, it was a great deal and it's a good, safe scent.
You don't want to get 1 million unless you want everyone to know what you're wearing (I think it's headed the same way as Fierce/Acqua di Gio, where everyone recognizes it). It's okay, but it's a powder/vanilla/musk bomb.
A*men is not a safe blind buy (I really like it a lot though). GIT is not a safe blind buy either -- mainly because of its price and the fact that it smells just like Cool Water with ambergris mixed in.
Get samples before you buy any of these. Earlier in the thread, someone suggested these sites. I haven't ordered yet, but plan to:

GIT if you want to pay retarded Aussie prices for it. Really, at 17, as long as it's not old spice, sloots will get moist.

In the US, they have sample vials of 1-2ml that you can get from stores.

I just blind bought cuba gold after hearing about in on here and seeing that it was so cheap. I dont think i'll ever blind buy anything else, but for £11.94 (ebay inc P+P) i can't go wrong. Worst case scenario - i dont like it and i end up having wasted 12 quid. Reviews on basenotes say its pretty much just a slightly inferior version of le Male though, so it can't be terrible.

Not sure about the bottle though, kinda looks like a BBC in the pictures...
