Black Friday Deals (General - Not Restricted to Supplements)

Looking around online right now - it seems Amazon and Best Buy have some going today online.

I need a laptop for my Mom and was wondering if there were any real good deals on smart TVs.... Amazon has a LG Infinia 42LV5400 42-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV with Smart TV for $680.00.

As far as smart TVs go... not sure which is top notch or if I should just wait another year for the technology to get better and improve upon the current level.

If you see deals - feel free to post them here.

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families. Wish you nothing but the best (even Ross and Vince Goodrum).

TV deals are chit, as always. It's usually crappy name brands and nothing worth buying. Some decent deals on NFL and college sports gear.

On my way home from dinner last night I swung by the mall (around 10pm). Huge line wrapped around ToysRus, Best Buy had a line wrapped around it, target had a huge line.... Damn is it even worth it? Brb not spending time with family so I can camp out to get crappy deals.

Blackfriday.us has all the ads, most deals can be found online anyways. Check out dicks sporting goods and sports authority, some decent online sales.

Yep, went to my local shopping center last night (best buy, target, walmart, typical box stores..) and the lines were outrageous. Not a single parking spot anywhere. I don't understand why people want to wait in line to get a deal that will most likely be bought by others in front of them in line.

Decided to turn around and go home, not worth my time or sanity lol

ehh, i went out last night and was home by 4am already bored. Nothing seemed like a great deal at all. Hit up some outlets for clothes and some stores had 50% off, but nothing that makes me feel like its a must buy.

Exactly. I feel like black friday was a lot better before internet shopping. Last year I bought every gift online for my x-mas shopping, no lines, no hassle, and good deals.

I worked 3 black fridays at Best Buy and to even get the door buster items you have to be there several days in advance. By Thanksgiving morning there is usually a big enough line to guarantee that you won't get a big ticket item. Otherwise people are just buying crap they wouldn't even normally buy just because it says "sale" in front of it. Like Sandisk MP3 players for their grandkids. Guess what grandma? Your grandkids want iPods, so go back to bed.

I guess all these years in retail have made me bitter. It sucked sitting there everything thanksgiving thinking, "whelp, gotta get ready for work in a few hours so the psychos can buy their TVs". Thank god those days are gone.

Thank goodness for the internet so I can slip off into a food coma with no regrets.

    Hahaha!

I also feel like half of the people that go out for black friday sales are just going out for the sake of it or just going along with their friends, making the lines and parking lots unbearable.

Nothing like slipping into a food coma and doing a little online shopping

I travel frequently and have owned both Bose (QC2.0) and Denon noise cancellation headphones. While these are not noise cancellation, they do filter the noise levels substantially. These are much easier to travel/fly with.

Are they on the smaller side? Most earbuds hurt my ears (my ear canals are very small!) and I could use some nice headphones.

They are incredibly small, probably the size of a q-tip or smaller. They come with about 6 sizes and forms of tips (single vs. double flange) so you always get a good seal. Check google images for more pics of them. (Posting from phone or I would post some)
