lol cheeky kunt. I'll be squatting 2x a week on this prog, don't you worry. 5 plates? That's my max DL bro. I know I'll have close to that eventually. Gonna be a long ass time. 4 plates is a nice shorter term goal.
Scroll up and I have a semi side angle with me doing a double with 315 in chucks, not Oly shoes. A slight, slight amount of butt wink, but nothing major. I have good flexibility/athleticism![]()

Holy ****, why don't I have the Chinese squatting gene? WTF. Genes, I am disappoint. Holy crap, they squat so upright. No flinch or back adjustment whatsoever, not even a sign of struggle (except minor groan)
Should I then assume that oly shoes are for sale in HK/China? Gotta get myself a pair. Your current squatting form is a HUGE improvement from your old squatting vid form (non-Oly)!

Yes. It should be.
I like them, I think they look clean. Here's another angle.
Dunno. I wanted to give the badybaldin more time. We'll see. Keep me updated.
Thanks guys. I where my Oly shoes for Squats/Bench. Everything else is Chucks fo sho.
lol. They do a lot of mobility work and squat every day + been doing it their whole lives. Keep at it and you can get similar form. Just look around online and make sure they have good return policy so you can find the right size Oly shoe. And make sure the heal is 0.75". Thanks, I try.
Done the same thing before. Its coo.

Nice name lolz.
Thanks brew. My back squat is actually my weak point. Just realized I posted my front squat under bench, so I had a mod fix that. My pressing strength is where I thrive. Still no excuses. Gonna get my squat up asap.
Edit- Also have been thinking about where to put in the squats. I guess it will have to be DL day (Tuesday), right after my 5-3-1 DL. I'll do some back squats or front squats w/ 70-80% for moderate volume. Then my main squat day will be 5-3-1 squat day on Friday. Looks like Tuesdays are gonna be a bitch. I think it would be a bad idea for me to squat Monday (today) because I then have heavy deads the next day. Wouldn't be 100% for deads.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=238

Thanks Pezzy. You're the first person out of a good amount to say this. Failure is just taxing on the CNS. I think staying slightly away from it is better in the long run + I got all the other volume. I guess you're supposed to save most of what you have for week 3 and then get closer to your max. Dunno. Just getting a feel for the program, you may be right, it is only 1 set after all.

I'm not saying you should try to grind out a rep that you're obviously going to fail, but rather than leave 1-2 in the tank, why not do the dang reps? Maybe there's something about this CNS bidness I don't know, though. I know you shouldn't fail all the time, but grinding a rep out once or twice a week can't be bad, can it?

So you're telling me that grinding out a rep is bad? I get "once or twice a week" from the fact that (I think) you do 3 AMRAP sets each week, if one or two of those sets happens to have the last rep be a rep that wasn't "in the bag" then you will need to grind it out. I don't know about you, but 90% of the time my last rep isn't a real grinder, so it could be less than once or twice a week I guess. Even if it was, though, is it bad? (srs)
I don't know how to answer your second question. Biggest lift? All lifts? what period of time? Sometimes you ask me questions that seem like you don't think I train.Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153427731&page=1

There is am AMRAP set every training session with lifting done 3-4x a week.
What is the heaviest weight you have consistently moved for a period of time?
Yes, I also spend the vast majority of my time without the last rep being a real grinder...because I either am not following a program that calls for AMRAP or, if I am, I leave 1-2 in the tank.
