Thanks. Yes, high rep deadlifts take more out of me now than anything else. A lot of it is mental. That Russian program I did before this prepped me for today.
TnG is ok for DL's. Do what you prefer. Some of the best DLers in the world use TnG. Apparently it keeps constant tension on everything(when done correctly) and allows for a more optimal stress. I still keep the weight dead in between reps. But that's because I have to, due to my rubber matting creatinga trampoline effect.
Those pullups were meh. My latest DH WG Pullup PR is 15 and I could have done 2 more at least.
Noice. And did you get that idea from me? I said that a few weeks back. I'm sure it would work very well. Do eeet.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=238

Npb
Still think black is their best song.
I have this problem where my right side dips down a bit. You'll notice it on the first rep the most. Need to work on fixing that. This is why getting vids of yourself is good. Also I was jerking the bar too much a few times. Need to work on that.

Close enough.
Yeah. This 5-3-1 crap is easy as fawk so far. Looking forward to the 3rd week where I rep out 420. Only one rep is required which seems like a joke. I'm hoping I'll get around 5-6. Funny thing is I used my exact maxes too.
I could have but I don't like going to full on failure on deads. Probably had 2 more reps. But my form was getting yucky.
Good. Yeah, I'm doing more of a BBing split now and gonna see how it goes. Before I was hitting body parts 2x a week at least with good volume and heavy weight. Now its way more volume and only heavyish weight at first and moderate weight after, I will do my best to keep going as heavy as I can.
I this template has been around for a while. So far its nice. I will probably add in a body weight session on saturday. Just a 30-45 min sesh of pullups/dips/ab wheel and maybe calves.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=238

Never listened to this whole song until now. As long as you have a decent sound system I think 4min-6min is amazing. Trance bros only. Trying to find it @ 320 kbps.
Still needs more mass/10. Just wish I could stay pumped all the time.

I'm @ like 210 as of now
Looks like I lost about 5 lbs during my phucked up family ordeal. Usually I weight over 210 right now.
Thanks bro and yeah, I thought 8 would be ok, but I went apesh*t instead. I think the bounce helped a lot. Remember I usually don't bounce, before I paused between reps. Looks like the pausing paid off.

I'm doing a lot more BBing now. Still working on my weak points for the big lifts however. That option is different for sure. I think its making me go close to failure, which I dunno if that's a good thing or not. I don't remember your exacts, but did you ever hit 10 reps on any of the "5" sets? I found it lulzy I was able to today.

Wait hold on a sec. You mean week 3 because 5-3-1 goes to week 3(the heavy week) then you deload, no week 5. But wtf? I find that hard to believe. There must be more to the story.
Also, not bringing me down at all. I know for a fact I am terrible at repping things out, so this is a + for me already.Last edited by dopamine72; 11-24-2011 at 10:16 PM.
