Disappointing loss. The Bears weren’t good enough to overcome that horrific kick catch interference that took the turnover away from the Bears and gave the ******** the ball in fg range.

At least they made it interesting down to the last second though, I guess.

Trubisky was a mixed bag making some really good throws and then some terrible decisions. Pretty much the worst case scenario in terms of evaluating him for the future. Good luck, Ryan Pace.

Not a difficult decision as to if he's the future or not. The difficult decision is who to replace him with

Wonder what would have happened had that bullchit punt interference penalty not been called. The packers scored a td on that drive when it should have been bears ball.

It’s easy for couch scouts, I’m talking about for the management and ownership.

Who knows. But it obviously would have been a completely different game.

That’s easy to say when all of the close calls went your way. And it was obvious watching live that he didn’t hit him until he had caught it which is why the tv commentators thought he must’ve signaled for a fair catch after they saw it live.

Bad Nagy and bad Mitch returned. That kick interference call was complete BS, but they had plenty of chances to overcome it and couldn't do it. Horsted made a rookie mistake trying to make a play and win the game on that last play. The vets had that whole thing lined up perfectly. They knew exactly where to be on the field to funnel that lateral play into the end zone. One more pitch to A Rob and it's 6.

I would be absolutely shocked if the Bears elect to pickup Trubisky's 5th year option this spring. I know they can pick it up and still end up rescinding it (as long as Mitch doesn't get injured in 2020), but still, it is for HUGE $ and he is not good at all.

I personally hope they sign him to a mega-contract. Could the NFCN be blessed with two Jay Cutlers?

As a packers fan I hope Chicago goes out of there way to be the first team to give a player a lifetime contract and give that distinctive contract to Mitch. He plays like a 3rd stringer SRS.

LOL. The Cutler trade/extension was a disaster--I agree. But at least the dude could actually play the position. His problem was decision-making and he just had zero killer-instinct or leadership skills.

Mitch simply lacks the skills to play the position.

I wouldn't go quite that far. He flashes the skills off and on. He just can't consistently play well. I'm fine with a bonehead INT now and then, but he just gets in stretches during the season or long stretches during games where he plays like absolute dog ****.

Well he has the physical tools like size, arm strength, athleticism, etc.---he just can't consistently throw straight. Even on one-read passing plays. I think that is something you either have or don't have--when your 3 years into starting. I don't think it can be learned at this point.

As much I've hated on Mitch he's played decent the past 5-6 games. It's pretty annoying after the first half how this team becomes one dimensional. Damn near dead last in rushing yards in the league. Getting a game manager like Teddy won't fix this offense if they don't upgrade their o line and I think they should sign a running back to compete with Monty and a QB to at least compete with tribusky not a journeyman non starting QB like Chase.

Cohen is more of a receiver then he is a running back. Put Eddie Jackson back at FS and get an actual SS. Replace Princes old azz for tolliver for now.

Kenny Clark is chasing him towards the sideline and he just nonchalantly walks out of bounds for -3 yards to bring up a 4th & 6 (that they didn't get). Bears are 5-1 when Montgomery has 50+ rushing yards.

They traded up for Montgomery and considering the other needs they have, limited cap space, and lack of draft picks I don’t think another running back is a high priority.

Especially, since a lot of the issues with the running game are scheme problems. Nagy wants to trick defenses by having guys go in motion or leak out as receivers but it consistently doesn’t work.

Video of the stupid run plays:
    https://mobile.twitter.com/SageRosen...68490567098368

It’s weird though because his pass plays are always well designed and well called against the defenses but the QB isn’t very good and misses several throws every game: https://mobile.twitter.com/SageRosen...73467305938945

I think in the offseason Nagy just needs to realize he sucks at designing run plays and hire someone else to do it. Some colleges have run game coordinators, Nagy clearly needs one.

    Back.

Banned cause that little bitch Lunatic can dish out **** talking but he can't take it.

Dude whined to the mods like the low character pussy that he is.

Good on Patel for clowning that loser.

Dude isn't likeable on any level.

I'd literally pay him $100 if he could furnish a picture of him with actual friends IRL.

I refuse to believe his **** personality manifested out of thin air after God put him in his place.

Dude's a lifelong virgin, he wasn't getting pussy before the accident.

    Not with that personality.

He's lucky he ended up like he did instead of going to prison (where he was headed) where he'd most definitely be a **** boy.

Imagine running to the mods looking for sympathy because you can't handle what you've been asking for.

    ****ing loser.

Dude tried impersonating me going out on a limb making a bold predictions and fell flat on his face.

He did that in the form of a ban bet he's gonna lose, then showed his lack of character by looking for a weak (at best) excuse not to honor his bet.

You're not me, never were in my league or anywhere close.

Let that simmer next time you need your diaper changes Timmy.

Agreed they need a new OC OL and Nagy should give up playcalling duties for a while.

Bears 1st Downs by passing: 61.5%

Texans 1st downs by passing: 59.5%

Apply those rough percentages to converted 3rd downs

    Bears: 40 passing 1st downs

Texas: 46 passing 1st downs on 3rd down

The Texans are ranked 5th in the league and have converted roughly 6 more 1st downs passing.

Meanwhile bears offense is ranked 29th in the league.

I think Nagy's WTF playcalls, personnel choices, etc were enough to tip the scales in majority of Bears losses.

Meaning if Nagy wasn't so terrible they'd be a playoff team.

But when you have the dumb playcalls, and stupid personnel choices, and you're constantly losing by 7 or less, kinda makes you wonder.

As bad as the team played they were even still a playoff caliber team if they had a competent coach making a handful less of stupid decisions per game.
