I think we have to create a new diagnosis for this guy... Trubustky Denial Syndrome (TDS), us Chicago fans know a thing or two about mediocre QBs. Good news is... I don't think Nagy is as attached to Mitch as MBison, I think face to face you obviously support the guy you have and try and make it work. But behind closed doors, I'd bet Pace and Nagy are having discussions about where to go from here. At least let's hope.

All aboard the trade for Bridgewater train. The guy has proven to be a legit starting QB. Lead the Vikings to a NFC North title... only major concern is staying healthy but I'd rather instill my faith in him than just blindly following mediocre Mitch and hoping the lightbulb will magically turn on one day.

Put the team in position to win the game, can't kick the FG's himself.
Bad game or not, Trubisky did what he needed to when the team needed him to.The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

I didn't say he had a good game.
He had a bad game.
He still delivered in crunch time and they should have won.

Alright, Timmy's nonsense aside. Wtf do the Bears do now? Can't tank for a pick. Do they trade what little draft capital they have for a QB? I don't even think that'd turn anything around necessarily.
Start Daniels? Send Nagy packing? I don't get how the offense is this bad. I really don't understand taking a knee with 40 seconds left when you still have a timeout.
Going to be an interesting 24-48 hours for the Bears

No, the strength of this team is the defense, so his job is to protect leads and not turn the ball over, especially in the 4th quarter. Turning it over in scoring position for the Chargers twice in the 4th quarter is unacceptable. If he just did his job properly they don’t need a game winning fg attempt, so he doesn’t get credit for almost getting them out of a situation he created.

Run game has great potential and I think that's a big reason why they have to get rid of Nagy. They were moving the sticks when they just kept feeding Montgomery the ball and it did open up the play action game a little bit and gave Trubisky a little bit more time to throw. Don't get me wrong, Trubisky made plenty of terrible throws and had some retarded turnovers and ball security issues. But he also made some ok throws.
When Trubisky didn't have much time to throw is when the real chit throws came in.
If I was the GM I would go for O-Line > New Head Coach > New QB in that order. Hell Chase Daniel could do half ok if he was handing off to Montgomery behind a solid O-Line IMO

The GM that hired the previous coach, this coach, and who traded up for Trubisky isn’t going to get another coach hire.
Nagy just needs to give up the play calling he’s too hell bent on doing this jet sweep, reverse, double fake, gadget play stuff.
They had all of their success lining up in the I formation and just pounding it up the middle and then using play action. But I guess that’s too boring for him to stick with. So someone who will stick with what works needs to be calling the plays.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

He doesn't understand that y'all wouldn't have required him to put y'all in a position to win the game had he not turned the ball over.
The only reason he's still making excuses and doubling down on his Trubisky praise is because he's talked about him so highly that him admitting that Trubisky sucks, something 99.99% of real football fans know, would make him look unbelievably stupid. He doesn't know **** about football and constantly contradicts himself, so you arguing with him about it is pointless. FFS, he doesn't actually watch the games.AcetylCoA gets reps

That loss was partly on Nagy, he should have ran the ball closer to the end zone, taking a knee with 43 seconds left? da fk?
Trubutsky is terrible but he did what he had to do to get them in winning position yesterday, Nagy is a potato and I don't even want to talk about the kicker situationBlaugrana Crew

Aside from Mitch, Nagy is a huge, huge problem on this team. So many wasted red zone trips yesterday where he flat out refused to just lineup and run the ball. Something that was working all game long. The things that got you into the red zone in the first place (inside the 10 twice) was running the ball. The one red zone trip that ended in a TD was done by lining up and smashing the Chargers in the mouth. They had 3 defensive tackles out yesterday. It's like Nagy feels like he has to try to prove he can make Mitch work passing the ball. His ego is getting in the way of this team's success.

LMAO at Nagy's play calls on the 4 yard line. He brings in Patterson, Shaheen, Braunecker, Burton, and Cohen. Spreads everyone out with the 3 TEs bunched to the left and an empty backfield. Cohen way out wide to the right. Leaves A-Rob, Gabriel, Miller and Montgomery on the bench. Doesn't work. Then he tries the same exact formation later from nearly an identical spot but with A-Rob in place of Cohen. Not sure if it was Mitch's fault or how they had the play designed but instead of throwing up a jump ball for A-Rob 1v1 he throws to Shaheen's big goofy ass. Doesn't work. They try the same exact formation again later on, and it goes screen to Patterson with Burton's trash blocking in front of him. Yet another fail. All the while Montgomery who is averaging 5ypc is sitting on the bench.
