Yeah, but what confuses me is that the play calling was what you would expect for a rookie QB. It's like if you're going to be ultra conservative and limit the play calling, why do you need an 18 million dollar QB for that?


And of course, Kevin White is out for the season with an injury. I think that makes his bust status official.

That conservative **** is what lost us that game. When we were forced to pass they moved the ball right down the field. Had they tried that earlier we could have been playing with a lead instead of catch up all day.

They still have the pick. I think they sent over the 3rd or 4th rounder for 2018 though.

Instead of Ridley they should draft Equanimeous St. Brown from Notre Dame. The guy has a 4.0 GPA and speaks 4 languages. Hopefully smart enough not to get injured.

Glennon has no pocket presence whatsoever. Can't feel the rush from the backside, doesn't step up in the pocket, it's frustrating. It's going to be a long season knowing John Fox refusing to play Trubisky at the moment. TBH, it's not a bad idea to keep Trubisky on the bench. We have no deep threat and the OL line banged up. IMO Trubiksky will probably play around the 6th or 7th game.

I don't understand Fox's thinking. Deshaun Watson isn't ready and the Texans are playing him. Jared Goff wasn't ready and the Rams played him. Now look at Goff taking the next step this year. We need to play Trubisky already. I know the advantage he has over Glennon is that if the pocket breaks down at least Trubisky is mobile enough to buy more time to either throw the ball away or find a receiver breaking off their route.

From the tweets of the press conference it appears that everything is under review, including starting Sanchez. LOL

There's no way Fox is still the head coach after this season, and I'm still not sure if Pace knows what he's doing at all. At this pace the Bears might win 4 games this season. Cutler may have had his turnover issues but every so often he would remind everyone the talent he has when he makes good decisions. Glennon is making the Bears unwatchable, can't fukking handle watching him turn the ball over 3 times in a half

A lot of things I'm seeing bouncing around Twitter point to Trubisky starting against the Vikings. Things like him requesting tickets for UNC coaches is a pretty positive sign.

I don't follow 670 the Score guys much, so not sure how reliable their tweets are.

I have a source who is close to the UNC coaching staff. Trubisky has been told he's starting Monday. He has requested tickets for coaches.

I'm prepared for him to make some mistakes, it's going to happen. However, I think he gives a dimension to that offense we really need. Get the pocket moving, give receivers time to get open. Trubisky being mobile is a huge, huge step for this offense. I'll be at the Vikings game, can't wait to see this kid live. fuk yeah!

At least in preseason he actually seemed to have a better pocket presence or internal clock (or whatever it is that makes Glennon appear oblivious that the opposing team is trying to get after him) than Glennon. Hopefully, that translates in real games.

The fact is he's still a rookie. I'm prepared for his mistakes because they are going to happen, but he also gives this team some hope. I don't expect to win many more games but as long as he progresses I will be happy.

Vikings are a tough matchup to start against but he's a rookie. He'll grow from it if he's legit. Manning led the league in picks as a rookie and he was a senior coming into the NFL. Mitch is a one year starting junior.

Look forward to see what he can do. Not an ideal situation but still exciting to see these top QBs play.

Good call. I knew Glennon was not that great but he has been downright awful. I'm excited to see what Trubisky can do. My gut feeling is their going to be pretty conservative with him and try to establish the run game to take pressure off him.
