So stoked for this season! Idk if we'll take the division but we'll do a whole helluva lot better than last year!

The Lions blocked the Bears from interviewing Jim Bob Cooter, so it seems like that won't happen. I don't really know anything about him or what type of offense he would run but Geep Chryst is a heck of a name.

Maybe but there is speculation out here that there was friction between Fox and Gase at the end of the season. And part of the reason Gace isn't getting other OC jobs might be that coaches are concerned about losing him to a HC gig next year. Although with Cutler at QB here I don't any coach needs to worry about the OC getting a HC gig.

It'll be interesting to see how he fits in with everyone. I would think this adds credence to the report that Marshall will be gone since Gase was the WR coach in Denver when Marshall was throwing tantrums in practice and punting balls in practice instead of catching them.
Anyway, the Bears look like they have a good coaching staff, so let's hope they can have a good draft, get some better players, and then win some more games.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

If the Bears pursue any Broncos players, I think Brandon Marshall (the LB), Orlando Franklin, Terrance Knighton, and Raheem Moore are more realistic Bears targets since they'll be FA's or RFA's.
Personally, I really like Brandon Marshall but I'm not sure he would fit in a 3-4, if they're moving to a 3-4.
Here's a fun stat:

Under Adam Gase, Denver scored 30-plus points in 8 games this year. The Bears were 1 of 4 teams that did not score 30 in a game this seasonLast edited by cheerupemokid; 01-21-2015 at 05:52 PM.

Congratulations to my guy Adam Gase. It was good catching up and laughing with him today about the Denver Days. Excellent hire. #BearDown

Liking the new hires, I'd love to see a playoff return next year.

The thing that I like about this entire situation is none of these players are really safe. Yes, Jay has a huge contract tied to him, but if they feel there is a better direction to go I think they will take it. Pace has sole possession of this team, and the direction it goes in. I think he will be aggressive in the draft and could even see him trying to move up to get Winston or Mariota. Anything is possible with this coaching staff we have now, this is the best direction I have seen this team go in the last 12 years. I'm not expecting a turnaround to a playoff run next year, but at least a team that is competitive.

Considering all of the holes the Bears have and the potential switch to a 3-4 defense, I don't think trading up for a QB is a good idea. Maybe if one of those guys was an Andrew Luck type prospect but that's obviously not the case, so it wouldn't be worth it.
The Bears have hired a couple more coaches:
