Thanks guys
UPDATE:
I'm still training, just haven't logged the last week or so. I missed an upper session due to an unreal amount of snow we got dumped on us. I'm not a big fan when it comes to snow. I will also be missing todays session due to pain in the knee again.
I'm really getting into the 5x5 style of things. It's so simple. I will also try to get some cardio in so.
That is all for now

Well, 3 steps forward, 2 steps back. But that's better than 2 steps forward, 3 steps back.

Another pointless update?
Well 2013 started off really well for me!! I had to make an emergency appointment at the doctors as I was 100% certain I had toncilitis (SP?). Turned out I didn't but have some kind of nasty cold/virus
Haven't trained in about two weeks now.
I hope to be able to train again on monday. We will see.
I have also decided to start very light and work up again to something respectable.
Here are a few goals:
Box Squat - 130kg x5
Bench Press - 100kg x5
Deadlift - 190kg x5My PowerLifting journal!

Thanks guys!
UPDATE:
This is about the 5th week with no training. This virus thing I have has really taken hold of my family My poor little 19 month old daughter has been to hospital 3 times because of this, she now has a lung infection and ear infection, my gf has been to the doctor's 4 times now, in the end her eardrum burst because of an ear infection. I have been to the doc's 3 times and now believe I have an ear infection....
I am really fcuking p!ssed off with this sh!t
My doctor says I can expect to be out of training for another 3-4 weeks!!!!
I'm down 11lbs and probably would have difficulty doing 10 push ups!
When I finally get back to training I will do some more body building type training to get some mass back on. I have decided to give german volume training a go. I want to start doing at least 20 work sets on each main body part.
Once I have put on some size I think I might just give 5/3/1 another go or go back to my 5x5 training I was doing before I got this virus. Time to set up some more goals.
I probably will mostly be doing box squat variations for the squat to minimize knee pain.
Once I finally get back to training I will make a new journal. This one feels like bad luck. I'll post a link here for those that want to follow along. My PowerLifting journal!

Damn Darren! It's great to get an update from you, but unfortunately, you mostly have unfortunate news. I really hope the health of your family and yourself improves as soon as possible. Knowing you, I can imagine you miss lifting, especially with that badass gym you have. A tough way to start the New Year, but I know once you get back to 100%, you will attack the weights with a vengeance!

Thanks Woody. I will stop by and see what you have been doing soon.
Update.
I am finally back to training. I now have a training partner and am already reaping the benefits of that.
I have almost regained my strength after a 3 month layoff. This only took about 3 weeks. Body weight is back up where it was ...250lbs.
BP is back up to 220lbs
Squatted 330 the other day.
DL is around 420.
I will try to update with what I am lifting on a regular basis from now on.
Lower session later.My PowerLifting journal!
