The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? Try to accomplish at least 1 productive thing per day

Same here. I've been a much happier person recently (over the past 5-6 months) but today for some reason I just had a really depressive day. Feeling like crap at the moment.


My advice to OP, tackle each issue one at a time. There are reasons you are unhappy, accept that, and work towards resolving them. Judging by that list it seems like there are several main things bringing you down, and everything else is just kindling the fire and giving you that "overwhelmed" feeling.

You said you don't have too many close bro friends, go change that. Try being more social, you already go to parties, I don't think it's a huge step in any direction at this point. Try to at least act happy around people, nobody likes being around someone who's mopey all the time. For your grades just start enforcing some habits into your routine that will aid you. You don't have to delete your bb.com account and have a 3 hour study session every single day. Start by actually attempting to finish all your homework, and bring your books home and look over the work you did at school for maybe 20-30 minutes every night. Eventually those will become habits and it will be easier for you to study more, or finish projects, also little things do make a difference. Good study habits are something you should really strive for (srs).

One more thing is, smile. All the time. Not like a cartoon-y over the top smile. Also not a desperate fake smile. Just pull out a sincere smile whether you really mean it or not. It creates a nicer atmosphere, people will generally enjoy being around you more, and to be completely honest if you fake something long enough you will begin to believe it.

This time of the year sucks bro. The weather really has that effect on people. I wouldn't usually write up this mini-essay at a topic like this, but like I said I had a pretty shit day myself, I wanted to help out another bro the best I could.
