Since we could not convince a mod to chop out the last half of a call out thread that turned into an indepth discussion of advanced training methods we need a Nut Misc training thread. Feel free to ask each other and compare notes on neural effeciency gains vs myofibrillar hypertrophy vs sarcoplasmic hypertrophy vs cappullary beds and transent storage factors.... training frequency, periodization or what accessory lifts will get you through your sticking point... or if it is better to try a deadlift PR listening to Ja Rule vs Flocka Waka vs Pantera.
Ok go!
Oh and... do you even lift *******?

Current program?
5/3/1 right now. Probably going to finish it up and switch to a lower volume RPT routine as my cut comes to a close."Nutrition for powerlifting: If you are serious about it, you will eat f*cking everything and get strong as $hit." - HamburgerTrain

History:
Before my 5 year lay off of lifting I was a very brotastic lifter. I would only workout upper body. I did a good job of that, but my lower body was 'untrained'
Now that I am working out again, I am doing SS to get my Squats and Deadlifts respectable. Once I feel like my strength is leveling off I wanted to transition into either 5/3/1 or a RPT type program.
Any recommendation or advice?I think 'Clean' and 'Dirty' when used in relation to food should be ***** out like curse words.

I'll bite.
So I read Arnie's encylodedia like 3 years ago and I train very similar.
Progressive Resistance/Pyramid 16, 12, 8, 6
Monday/Chest
Tue/Back
Wed/Legs
Thur/Arms
Fri/Shoulders
Sun/Arms again
I started training arms 2x a week and am seeing significant gains, I have only being doing it for about 8 weeks and the progress has been great. My lifts went up right away and my arms are finally growing. I have always had these tiny thin arms and am looking forward to some more growth.
My current avatar is before I started 2x a week on arms. They are very imbalanced as well. Left is catching up a bit. 3/4" behind now.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
