Had my RMR tested.... any advice?

And I'm sitting at 2439 according to one test and another machine at another place gave me 2472

Both tests estimated abou 350 calories from daily calories burnt on moderate to intense exercise and an extra 750 calories burnt from work, eating, walking, etc.

I had them both tested in the morning, upon waking up , on an empty stomach and basically at 6'2 , 25 y/o , 223 I'm pretty much at 2450 RMR

now my question to you is: If I continue Keto - Should I drop deficit to 2000 calories on top of what I burn in the gym? (I go daily weights and cardio as well - i lift pretty heavy) or should I leave it at 2450 and just stick with the gym workouts?

Reason I ask is because at 2k calories, I've been taking a break from the gym these past 2 weeks and I feel fine but when I do hit the gym sometimes I feel like 2500 calories is barely enough.

At one point I had to increase (about 2 months ago when I was 240 to go from 240 to 230) from 2200 cals to 3000 in order to lose weights

    Thanks in advance.

Hey bro. You lost more weight increasing from 2200 to 3000? Wow. How much are you losing per week right now?

The RMR sounds about right. It's usually about 500 cal off from internet calculators. I've found mine to be much lower. I'm eating 2000 a day on keto and I get hungry too. But I'm seeing results so I'm stickin'. If you are losing steady at 2500 cal/day then just go with it. If not then try to reduce another 200-300 and try it on for a couple weeks?

Yeah I was in this huge plateau where I didn't lose anything for like 4 weeks and I was pissed off so I just upped it and voila.

I will try to stick with eating 2500 calories see how far it takes me

I've lost close to 180 lbs in the last 10.5 months so my body probably just been saying **** you for the past few months but I'm trying still nonetheless.

before adding cals, try using coconut or mct oil as a pre-workout supp.

heh. i dunno, man. it's not that high of a #. you can lose @ 2.5k if you're not sedentary. if you have a life, 2.5k should be kinda low, i reckon.

Dusty what do you suggest I do. Combine with a pre work out shake? I love coconut oil I always have it in my house

And why do you say for pre-work out specifically?
