hahahaha bro you forgot to mention the part where the whole movement is a public relations effort intended to changes peoples emotions about x,y,z by appealing to their, uh, er, emotions. oppression...oppression everywhere!
do pm me when the tanks start rolling in and the cops start using live ammo.
I'm intrigued how the left hate the troops so much, but foist them up so goddamn high when a troops says something the left approves of. It's like they're trying to overcompensate for their hatred. Warehouse clerk speaks out? PUT HIM ON THE NOBODY WATCHES OLBERMANN SHOW! STAT! We've got a live one! Don't waste this opportunity!

arguing with a socialist is like arguing with a religious zealot. it's what comes from having a more feminine, emotional mind, rather than a masculine rational mind IMO.

Has there been any confirmation at to what actually injured this guy yet? I mean the Police deny using flash bang grenades to begin with, and Occupy protesters have a history of throwing crap at the cops. So why are we dismissing that a protester might have been the one to hit the marine?
Also, one has to be amazed at how these conflicts are covered by the media, and yet peaceful Tea Party rallies where they kept parks clean, didn't assault the cops, or disrupt local business, were condemned.
Interdasting....

Its a violation of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice to wear anything affiliated with your branch into any politicially motivated demonstration, that guy in the other video is disgracing his uniform, his blouse should be buttoned and if he's going to wear it he should be cleanly shaved, and his shirt is the wrong color and untucked.
I doubt he is a marine at all, and if he is, he shouldn't be for long.
I support the police, the whole "occupy" movement is nothing more than a disjunct group of protesters using semi-violent means and intimidation to illegally clog public walkways and roads. They can peacably assemble in an appropriate area like a park, and the demands they keep making are ridiculous to begin with and do not reflect a vast majority of people.
If its a revolution you want, I would definetly target military members for recruitment, but the rest of these granola eating lefties aren't going to acheive anything but another Kent State Massacre...
which was a good thing by the way, thats what happens when you throw **** at groups of cops when your obviously illegally in an area endangering traffic and pedestrians. You cant have your cake and eat it to....pull the ****ing trigger or protest correctly like the "tea party" people but dont ride the fence because thats a good way to catch a canister to the face.

Sure and Ron Paul is "racist," keep repeating all the carefully planted crap to keep people divided. Take one picture of a wasted kid at OWS and that becomes the icon, then take one picture of a Tea Partier with a racist sign to smear them and scare the left, and the super-rich laugh all the way to the bank. Turn in your hasbarat badge you're done.

My point was about how the media covered the comparing rallies. Violent Occupy protests get praise, and peaceful Tea party rallies were condemned.
Also, who's to say a protester didn't injure this vet. After all, people like YOU are all over the Net telling others that violent measure will have to be taken in order to change things. We know that protesters have throw all sorts of crap at the cops before.
Hypocrites. This vet's blood is on YOUR hands.

I agree with a lot of the ideas behind OWS, but I do agree with this. Back during the tea party rallies it was a cry of "They're carrying guns! We have to stop them. Won't someone please think of the children!?" Currently we have a a group of OWS protesters throwing M80s at cops while trying to "re-take" a park that they were legally rousted from, and there is no real uproar over their aggressive tactics.
That said I still think this whole deal with cops throwing flashbangs at downed protesters and those going to their aid is fuked up.*MFC*

So glad I work for the government. If there's ever a revolution I'm going to the base I work at where I'll be protected by big dudes with big guns. Come at me bros.
Btw I lean republican and personally, I think more of these people would have jobs if they were out looking for them as much as they were protesting.
Oh, and since when is it okay to throw chit at police and expect them to just stand there and herp derp at you. Obviously they have to take action. These protesters are confusing their right of free speech with general public decency laws.**New Jersey Crew (732)**

Well then they wouldn't need to look for jobs in the first place now would they? I'm talking about the unemployed college grads who could probably get a job somewhere, even if it's working for retail or somewhere they don't want to be. If you need money do what you need to do. I majored in engineering and a big factor in that decision was knowing I would be more marketable than being a history major or psychology major. That's their own fault. Many of my friends are in these protests and majored in that, and while they were drinking in college I was studying. Karma is a beyotch.
However, I agree with the growing wealth disparity problems and yes, something has to change, but disrespecting authority is no way to go about it. Feel bad for the guy who got hit by the flash bang but it could have been anybody. Also recognize that cops have to reach quickly to riot situations and don't have time to sit and have coffee and donuts to think about it like our retarded senators. They weren't using lethal weapons. If all the cops had were nightsticks to defend themselves a riot would be too easy to break out.**New Jersey Crew (732)**

The majority of OWS protesters have jobs.

It isn't, but in the heat of the moment the dude that threw the grenade probably wasn't thinking clearly. I'm sure he regrets it. But was anybody hurt except for that one guy? It's just tear gas. I'm thinking after that guy got hit a lot of people were thinking of just rushing the cops and starting a riot and the cop throwing the grenade may have deterred that, so in a weird way he may have been helping. We both weren't there, we don't know what happened fully. But judging from the fact that a bunch of jobless people with nothing to lose in OAKLAND are getting angry, a riot seems pretty likely for such an event.

Still think its good that soldiers shot unarmed students at Kent State?
I dare anyone to go to an Occupy and see for himself if this repeated media lie about sanitation is true. The camps I've seen are neat as pins and strict rules even separate the medical tent location from the food tent location etc. Actually it feels like people with bivouac experience had a hand in Occupy lay-outs, i.e. military.
