GTA V Announcement has just recently occurred with the 1st Official Trailer of GTA V to be shown on November 2nd, 2011.
Been a huge fan of the game for years, as i know many here also have, so I will be posting ALL updates, information, trailers and pictures as soon as they are released here.
This is likely going to be the best selling game of all time as there now is a HUGE market of XBOX 360 and PS3 owners now as compared to when GTA IV was released.

have played and beaten all of the GTA's except for the ones on PSP. even got RDR just because some guy said it was GTA but with horses. everything went great as expected

They definitely need to add the "fun" factor that andreas had. Otherwise if this is a huge MMO and they were somehow able to make it work, it might be awesome.

As I've stated in a few of the other GTA V threads, I really hope it's somewhere like London(even though it wont). It'd be such a nice change of pace to have it in a new settings, with some beautiful witty slang filled characters straight out of a Guy Ritchie film.

Gamespot says a return to San Andreas is likely. I was hoping for Vice City + swampland and small foreign islands, but I won't complain too much if its San Andreas again, as long as they don't do San Fierro and NOT include a fake Alcatraz escape this time.***UCF Knights Crew***

San Andreas is probably my favorite GTA game but I really didn't care a whole lot for the scenery to be honest. I hope it's not there again.

i hope we can fly planes again!! cause in saints row u can, gta better step it up if they wanna make a great game like the gta 3 and vice city/san andreas.
i just hope they make a whole new city to **** around in, dont make the mistake of doing the same old city.

San Andreas definitely is the best, but I have a strong feeling that they are gooing to outdo it this time. All the time they have been secretly working on gta5 plus all the new material that will be added for sure.

Washington DC just sounds so boring compared to LA. I wouldn't know, but i'm assuming the diversity in gangs and crimes in LA is far more interesting then what happens in Washington DC.Originally Posted by joedirt87

So excited. If GTA V wasn't coming out I would sell my 360 and wait for the next gen (srs).
Location is most likely going to be San Andreas. Location really isn't a problem for me, new or old I know R* won't let me down. I'm more excited to see the main character tbh.
