Finally found some B+J's where I live (southern Ontario)

Decided to get these two flavours, there was also Cherry Garcia, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Caramel Hat Trick.
Each of these were 3.99 before tax, and that was on sale. Prices here are retarded, 7.29 regular price for one!!

Barrie, and ya after I came back I looked on the Canadian site and saw how little selection we had... I might be goin' down to Buffalo for like a day or so for some pre-Christmas shopping. I'll probably bring a cooler and buy a crap load of B+J's and bring 'em back.

Haha I always wonder about the big name candy brands ice cream.

Hershey I believe has quite a few flavors but I think they are probably on that same level.

Mars and Hershey are one in the same so ya probably...although in my experience(haven't had it in a while) they were pretty good. Of course the stuff's a little more popular around here.

The one post the guy has ever made in this thread has been to show off that he found the elusive flavor we've all been looking for, and he skates off without money shots or impressions. :P

It really depends place to place...they're replacing KLP with cannoli. So if you see KLP it means they don't have cannoli for sale yet but when they go through KLP, Cannoli will show up in that spot on the shelf

I went to the Scoop shop in Boston. Tried "Butterscotch". Tastes as described, but with a taste-gasmic crystalized sugar swirl. Worth a scoop, not a pint.

I got a couple of reviews here. I know it's been a while since I've posted, too. School. And life. It happens. Eh.

    Talenti Toasted Almond

Not a bad flavor, by any stretch of the imagination. The base is subtle and the little almond pieces are different, albeit delicious. They add a very welcome texture to what would otherwise be a relatively bland ice cream. However, there's nothing remarkable here. It's good, but not great.
    7/10

    Talenti Black Cherry Amarena

Another solid offering from Talenti. Once again, this isn't a bad flavor. The black cherries are absolutely outstanding; just slightly tart and not frozen, like a lot of fruit flavors, the cherries still manage to hold onto their texture. Not a remarkable flavor, but if you're in the mood for something light and refreshing, and you're a fan of cherry, you can't go wrong.
    7.5/10

    Salted Caramel Truffle

Not much I can say about this flavor that hasn't already been said. I can't help but compare it to Sea Salt Caramel, but really, the flavor is different enough that I shouldn't need to. It's not quite as good as Talenti's, but that's not to say it's bad. It's definitely different. The base, for one thing, is vanilla rather than caramel, and to me, at least, it seemed a little more salty. The truffles are basically the same, but the caramel swirl really puts this flavor over the top.
    8.5/10

    Cannoli

Aah, the moment I know you've all been waiting for. I managed to scoop this up at my local Fry's. I saw it sitting on the shelf, tempting me, and I couldn't resist. I grabbed it and immediately took it home to dig in. I let it sit for a minute or two to soften up, and then I managed a good sized spoonful of the base, all by it's lonesome. I tried really hard to taste the mascarpone flavor, and I don't know if it's just me, but I only got the barest hint. If they're calling it mascarpone ice cream, it's very subtle mascarpone. Disappointment. Howevery, I trudge on and grabbed a spoonful of the base along with some sizable chunks of chocolate covered cannoli. These little gems are absolutely delicious. They're small enough that they don't interfere with the overall ice cream experience, yet large enough to still make a statement. The chocolate shell isn't too thick, which is usually a major point of contention with me, and the cannoli pieces are light and crispy. Unfortunately, try as I might, I couldn't manage to find a good piece of the mascarpone swirl they claim is in the pint. Maybe it's because I really didn't get any or maybe it's because it blends too well with the base, but I was a little bummed about not getting as much of that mascarpone flavor as I had expected. Overall, it's a good flavor, but it's really nothing special. I'd recommend it as a one time buy as it's definitely worth trying, but, unfortunately, it's not top five material.
    7/10

Damn, I hate false advertising. The mascarpone ice cream and cannoli cream are things I would like to taste predominantly.

I promise you, it will not disappoint. If it does, I give you permission to come to New Jersey and shove me into oncoming traffic on the Turnpike.

Edy's S'mores...kinda meh. Not a bad base, but the little marshmallows threw off the whole balance rather than enhancing it. The graham cracker swirl is nice, as are the chocolate chips. Not bad for a slow-churned. 7.5/10

If any of you guys have Talenti's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup in your freezer, you might want to toss it — they've issued a recall in light of the PB-related salmonella outbreak. Bummer.
