i only have about 1/3 of the space you have man and i hate moving my stuff around. I can't imagine full blow machines that weigh hundreds of pounds each constantly moving aorund!
course i am sure you would agree it is fun and is also a workout lol.▪█───────█▪ Equipment Crew #46 ▪█───────█▪

The machines are usually no problem as most are plate loaded. Here are the hardest things to move in order:
1. Dumbbells (5-150). It destroys my back just unloaded and loading them back into the racks.
2. Hammer Strength Power Rack - it is just an absolute tank.
3. Cybex Assisted Chin / Dip - The weight stack as about 3-4 feet off the ground so it makes it difficult to control.
4. Cable Crossover - This is hard to move because unless I disassemble it I can only move each side a few inches at a time.
And previously my Nautilus Super Pullover (which I should have kept). That thing was super heavy, still not sure how I got it out of my truck without killing someone. We did not take out the weight stack when we moved it.

I know a guy who has two Nautilus Super Pullovers and wants to sell one. You can have your pick of a classic Nautilus Blue SP08, with a 200lb weight stack in the rear and two cool chain drives on even cooler aluminum cams or a pristine aqua green upholstered Second Gen with a 250lb stack on the left side of the machine.
You can thank me later!!

#2. If I can chime in, my opinion is subjective but I think the Hammer Strength Power Rack supersedes the dumbbells:
When assembling the Hammer Strength Power Rack, each upright alone probably weigh 100lb each. You're overhead pressing about another 100lb installing The Pull-Up Bar while at least one assistant bolts it in place.

I assembled the power rack alone. It was probably one of the most dangerous and stupid things I have done since starting to buy equipment. The sides and the pull up bar are heavy and difficult to manage, especially alone.
I guess the difference between the Hammer Rack and the dumbbells is once you have the few challenging pieces together on the Rack you are home free. Even if those pieces are very challenging. With the dumbbells you know going into it you have to un-rack 60 dumbbells and make sure they are out of the way for the time being, move the racks, then move and re-rack 60 dumbbells. Personally I rather bench 300lb once than 200lb twenty times, but of course, that is why it is subjective.

Another Update
Here is a newer video. I moved the bench press over near the power rack. This allowed me to add the following items:
Hammer Deadlift
Hammer Row
Hammer High Row (which I am trading for a different piece this week)
Hammer Chest Press
Hammer Incline Chest Press
Power Runner
I still can not figure out how to embed it.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Few Updates
I have made a few more changes to the gym which seems to be an ongoing thing. I thought I would post a few photos for those of you that have been following along.
I ended up getting rid of the Cybex Smith Machine, in its place is a Sorinex Incline Bench:
Now it is right at home with the Sorinex Flat Bench, same colors and all:
I was able to make a deal for a Nebula Plate Loaded Chest Press (hopefully I will have it by Christmas). Since I will have a new chest press in the near future I was able to trade my Smith for a Hammer Front Military and Hammer Lat. Here is a photo of the Military. The hammer chest and hammer lat are sitting in storage just in case I decide to expand or open a small space.
Finally I sold my Westside Reverse Hyper for an Edge Fitness Version. The Edge has a nice pad and is a good design, but they need to build a place to step up on their reverse hyper:

^^^^^ This! Great looking flat and incline benches. Do you know what the angle is on the incline? It looks like the pad is almost tilted back above the low back support, kind of like the Parrillo incline benches. I always have a hard time in commercial gyms finding an incline barbell bench that is close to 30 degrees, most of them are a little to high for my liking.
I'm sure you've said it in here already, but how heavy is your dumbbell set?"It is my own fault for replying in a smith thread." deadwoodgregg

Final video for a while.
I made a few more changes to the gym. I do not think I will be making any large changes for a while. I will organize a little better and have a few cool bars coming, but for the equipment itself I think I am pretty happy with everything. Some of the newer additions are a Nebula Chest Press, Medx Avenger Leg Press, and Atlantis Shoulder Press

Mike, the gym looks great ! I see a whole new bunch of vintage Yorks , as well as the new machines. I really do think it's time for you to expand though ;0, maybe a separate area for cardio, and another for legs, lol.
Your gym and Mike Dimond's always make me smile when I see new posts. Good job and keep it up. I'd rep ya', but as usual I'm on spread with ya'."Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do, than by the ones you did" Mark Twain
