Which BCAA?

I've been looking at some BCAA's recently and its seems that the Muscle Pharm recon and Cellucor COR-performance B-BCAA are some of the more popular ones. Which one is better? Is there any better ones that i missed? Thanks for any help given.

There are three branched-chain amino acids: leucine, isoleucine, and valine. Leucine is actually more effective if it is taken in its isolated form, as it won't need to 'compete' with the other AAs to enter the cell. But, supplement companies formulate their products this way so that they can charge you for the other two (expensive) amino acids.

In layman's terms, leucine enables your body to use protein more efficiently. It increases muscle protein synthesis and possibly has anti-catabolic effects as well. By taking leucine before a meal, you essentially prime the cell for MPS, which can *reduce* your daily protein requirements.

It's a pretty neat supplement, if you ask me.

I advise you to buy one with a flavor. I bought an unflavored powder and, boy, that tasted bad as hell. Like medicine, only worse. I heard the Berry Blast flavor is good, definitely gonna order that the next time.

If you order tabs though it doesn't matter I guess.
