    should i carb up?

    Hi .

I've been doing keto for the past 2 weeks (since sept 18th, <30g carbs/day), and I feel normal. I've read that after 3 weeks or so of being in ketosis your energy suddenly triples. My goal is fat loss, so my question is, if I dont have problems with my energy, should I still do carb ups? If so, how often and when should I do the first one?

I lift 4 days/week, and do 1 session of HIIT, 1 30~ min cardio session.

    Thanks.

I don't see a reason to carb up if you're happy with what you're doing. I've been in keto (mostly) for a year straight, lost a ton of weight, energy is great. The longer I'm in, the better I feel. On the rare occasion I have a "cheat" day, I feel like crap, have no energy and can't wait to get back into keto.
