What are some easy snacks for Keto? I'm busy at school everyday, what are some things I can throw into my bag and snack on during the day?

Bacon, pan fry them half crispy and cut it up into bits with a scissor or buy those pepperoni slices, they are like meat chips with tasty oil.
I don't recommend nuts because you can't digest them when you chew them since they still stay hard. They only get absorbed best when your eating them in a butter consistency.

These Helped Me Out
Might be a little late, but if anybody else is just now trying keto I was stoked to stumble upon this article with a bunch of keto snack recommendations from dietitians. (Check out the screenshot. I couldn't link out to the article.)
Beef jerky and hard-boiled eggs all day 💪 The entire post is on Factor 75's blog if you want to see the rest of the list.

If you have access to hearts like from deer, mouse, ,elk etc those are amazing if put in sea salt (totally covered, important) then hung to dry until it is almost as beef jerky. Hearts can have a little bit of fat, but as long as you salt for at least 7 hours and hang until dry then freeze until snack time that fat will just taste delicious. The heart contains important minerals and trace minerals, and I've been told the content of those are much higher then the rest of the cut of those animals.
And as they are wild and eat only natural sourced food, the fat has higher omega 3 and lower omega 6.
For drying I do mine outdoors in the winter time when temps are below freezing. Below freezing there ain't no dirty flies, insect or bugs around. So safer in the winter. I've made a meat cage that allows maximum air flow around the meat. The cage is made from metal mesh with smal small holes so that critters, birds, animals etc can not get to the goodies. I've been told you can do the drying process in a fridge or even freezer too but I never tried it myself so I don't know how it works.Last edited by Ifa99; 06-12-2019 at 09:35 AM.
