I will be in a pizza eating contest in 7 or so weeks. The first to eat a large cheese wins. Any tips or information on how to prepare over the next 7 weeks would be greatly appreciated. I've doing as much independent research as I can, but more direct, specific instruction would go a long way.

    Bully Burgrz "BEAST Burger Challenge"

    The Video

    The Location:
    Murrieta, CA

    The Challenge:

    8 Minutes to down..

~2lbs of Beef smothered in cheese
~1lb of Fries covered in chili cheese
~16oz Shake topped with one cherry

    The prize:

    Free T-shirt

    Final Thoughts:
I took this challenge with two other big eaters on Youtube. Kevin Ross and Matt "Sweet-Tooth" Cohen. Never had met Kevin before... SUPER nice guy with a ton of talent when it comes to eating (The Same goes for Matt). Anyways, we had only 8 minutes to complete this challenge which was..

~2lbs of Beef smothered in cheese
~1lb of Fries covered in chili cheese
~16oz Shake topped with one cherry

We both managed to DESTROY this one (but missed the record by 15 seconds). And kevin and I finished around 4:40. (We are still calling it a tie, even though I let kevin have the "win"). While this wasn't a full blown challenge with a ton of volume, I still had an AMAZING time with this one and had fun getting yet another win in my list of eating challenges..moving the number to TWENTY wins and ONE loss.

Stay Tuned for the next challenge!

    Starting Off!

    The waivers!

    The Challenge

here is a video where lady says 7.5 pounds, he does usually weigh his challenges though, so we know how sometimes challenges can be over weight but 1.5 pounds may be a stretch (just taking his word)

Perhaps. I do know we have a large burrito challenge here that can vary up to 2 lbs. It's "supposed" to be 8lbs. but for several of their challengers (the restaurant weighs it before presenting it to the challenger) it's clocked it at about 10 lbs. So it is possible.

So in my first attempt at a large (16 inches, 12 slices) cheese pizza, I took it down in 7 minutes 30 seconds. I would like to get this number way down. I have about a month to train. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Safe to say I don't think I could handle that much ice cream in one go. The brain freeze alone would destroy me.
    It's about progress, not perfection.

I'm not an expert when it comes to most aspects of life; sometimes, I have no idea what I'm doing. The more I learn, the more I can do, and the more I can pay it forward and help others.

The 15,000 Calorie Peanut Butter Cup Cake (10.5lbs)

And the latest challenge is LIVE.
Me taking on a TEN...and a half pound peanut butter cup cake!
I gotta say, for throwing this thing together in only one hour (and just getting the idea to pop into my head only a few hours before hand. I'm pretty happy that I made it happen (despite the fact that the top COMPLETELY broke apart on me.. see the video for further clarification lol).

This was BY FAR my most sweetest and most painful challenge yet.
The most I've ever done was 12.5lbs of protein/starchy carbs (soul food), so I wanted to recreate a volume/capacity challenge at home for my up coming challenge at a known restaurant.

I used reeses pieces in the yellow cake batter and then reeses bites in the chocolate cake batter which made it come out nice and gooey (and delicious). Like I said, the top broke apart on me. Which made it pretty much impossible to frost the top. But I still managed to get the cake to come out and got it on the table. I finished around the 39 minute mark.

DEFINITELY a delicious challenge, but way too sweet! Next one will be savory for sure.

Be sure to give the video a watch and share it with your friends!

    Snapshots

Size of cake (laptop for reference)

(Butterfinger cups on the bottom layer.. melted when I put the top on!)
