Ross Man!
My 2nd to last challenge last Feb was with Ross via "The Pancake Monster". The only time I ever did one with him actually. It was at Brian's 24 in downtown San Diego for a AHA fundraiser of all things. Winner got $500 gift card to the venue and every person who finished had $50 donated to the AHA as well as their $10 entry fee. No finish no big deal, you just lost the entry fee. He and I were neck and neck every bite of the way but I manged to pull ahead by 17 seconds (17 minutes final time and at the time new record that lasted 6 days prior to "The Mantis" beating it by 3 minutes). Never had I been pushed so hard to keep pace in an eating challenge. In his defense pancakes are one of his last choices (my top choice) for food challenges, he hates pure starch heavy contest much like I do fried food and cheese challenges. Like Bob said.....he is a legit contender that does not get the attention he likely deserves.

The Storm kid clearly has some form of disability, and I don't think it's simply a speech impediment. I thought he was much younger than he is, as I thought he wasn't even old enough to drive (he has a video of him driving). My main concern is that he may have some serious issues that are not being addressed. I don't think he is like many of the fitness enthusiasts that go on "controlled binges" and then have enough insight to ensure micro/macronutrient intake and maintain weight through "healthier" compensation.
Also, the frequency of his eating challenges clearly don't seem to correlate with his lack of weight gain. I would wager that he either partakes in extremely unhealthy compensating habits or purges afterwards. While most youtube channels that do eating challenges seems to employ some "healthier" methods to maintain weight, I have doubts about The Storm simply due to what I think we can all see is some form of disability.

^Dunno about all of that; he does do challenges pretty often but does... fail? some so he does not seem to go all out or anything; think he did a video of his 24th or 25thish Birthday too. He seems slow, maybe some slight mental disorder but does not seem to be anything dangerous.
Wont comment on the unhealthy eating habit/relationship with food; hard to say sometimes- could be that he does exercise but doesn't mention that part, or that part of his disorder could be metabolic maybe.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

I'm not sure what completing 80-90% of a 12,000 calorie challenge ("failing") has to do with my point. He still consumed an enormous amount of calories (probably 3-4 days worth) for his frame. If we assume he DOESN'T have any purging behaviors (which excessive exercise would be one), that means he's starving himself on the other days and only sustaining on whatever binges/challenges he does. Either way, this is extremely unhealthy from any standpoint. I say this only due to the frequency of his challenges, his probably disability, and high likelihood of purging behaviors.
As mentioned above, most of the other youtube personalities have found healthier methods to maintain the occasional binge/challenge.

Getting back on topic, anyone know what happened to Joe Park? Love his videos, especially his ICU (I challenge you) ones; but he hasn't posted in a long ass time.

Went back and redid broken yolks "ironman special" to start out the day! Relatively quick, but I took my time. It was WAY bigger compared to the last one, at about 75% capacity lol. But it was a free meal (likely around 9-10,000 kcals with the cheese, eggs, biscuits.. And the butter, jam and maple syrup)
Really hoping I didn't set myself up for failure this early on in the day! But I'm off to train!

^^ Training after that was TERRIBLE.
Felt like yakking midway through my session. (Which never happens)
Was sweating like mad in 60 degree gym.
Lifts felt weak as hell.
Oh well, I got through it. DEFINITELY needed that many calories (for free) because of how much it would've cost me.
In so much pain right now, lol.

^Damn son, you seriously continue to amaze me! 25K?!?!?!?!?! Please get video up over the weekend so I have time to watch it haha..
Also, would you say a 3-4 lb burger challenge with fries is tougher than pancakes? I know you did the AYCE pancakes at Ihop last year (as did I) and am trying to compare.. Although I know it may be an apples to oranges comparison due to one being all starches and one way more protein/fat (and also obviously depends on the person as well). I got 33 pancakes at Ihop so I am just trying to get a comparison as to if it is going to straight kill me or do I stand the slightest shot at it haha..I.C.E.D.

^Can't wait for the video... wont lie though some of those choices seem pretty bad for calories/fullness factor- donuts fill me up pretty well unless Krispy Kreme (could eat those all day), and rice, an the biscuits. Seems a lot of starches IMO, but guess it depends on how you handle them.
