Taking on the Sandbar grill 5lbs burrito challenge in Miami tomorrow afternoon. Will be taking pictures and a video. This is my second official food challenge, but the first challenge (a 2lbs burger with fries lol) was so piss easy I don't count it as anything more than a nice hefty meal.

Thanks Bob. It's a 1 hour challenge so I'm just aiming to finish it. For me, it's all about eating as fast as I can when it comes to eating large amounts of food. Once it gets over 20-30 minutes of non-stop eating, if I don't finish the burrito by then, I think it's going to be real tough.
So at that note, I'm aiming for 30 minutes~My Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=154479513

The IHOP Pancake Challenge
The Location:
International House of Pancakes, San Marcos California
The Challenge:
Eat as many pancakes as possible. Eating 10 hot cakes gives you the meal free of charge. Whoever eats the most pancakes at that certain IHOP location will go to the IHOP “Pancake Bowl” and win free IHOP for a year, and a 500$ IHOP gift card.
The prize:
Eternal pancake glory, free IHOP for a year, and a 500$ gift card.
The Video
The Pictures:
Starting out… my short stack of five..
Through about 20 at this point..
35 finished…
My buddies meal.. he was “beyond stuffed” after this..
The final damage
Final Thoughts:
This challenge was pretty enjoyable, but a hard one. Eating 8lbs of pancakes (35 pancakes), straight starch is pretty difficult. I most likely could’ve made it to 40+ pancakes, but I had a pretty big meal only a few hours prior and just simply walked in and took on the challenge.
I would say the most frustrating part of the challenge was having to wait and reorder pancakes in between eating them. The waiter would come around every 5-10 minutes, and I had to keep asking for more because she simply didn’t believe that I could keep eating more. That being said you could ONLY order TWO PANCAKES MAXIMUM at one time. I started at 5.. but that’s as much as they could give me.. Pretty stupid rule in my opinion.
I just got off the phone with the manager of the IHOP I went too, and they said that they would be giving me free meals and are “definitely sure” I’ll be representing their restaurant in this years “IHOP pancake bowl” so I’m pretty happy with my performance.
Waking up today though, I’ve never felt this bad after a challenge haha. My lower back is killing me, and I’m still hot/shaky from eating all of that sugar and starch. I’ve been constantly thirsty and have been downing water like no tomorrow.
Pancake bowl, here we come!

Banging these challenges out one after the other bro
- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.
