Still fairly sure I can do 10lb without prep fine.

I've done 4-5kg challenges here (plus liquids on top). Ate more than that outside too

Edit - I'm talking quantity here too. Noy saying I could do 12lb in 20 min or something. I would need about ~10-15min per kg average.

Most challenges are timed but. Of the 15+ official challenges I've done, all have been timed

Only ones not timed have been ones at work or gym or home with friends

Doubt I'll be back there anytime soon (except Hawaii again)

A poster about the IHOP Pancake Bowl lists the following prizes:

The first person at a participating location to eat 10 or more pancakes will get his or her meal for free
Some one who beats the current house record will get his or her meal for free
The person with the highest total for a restaurant as of January 26 will get a year of free pancakes
The top 10 totals as of January 26 in a participating metro region will compete in head to head “Pancake Bowl” contests on February 1 and the winner of those contests will receive a $500 IHOP gift card.
Sacramento, Des Moines, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Grand Rapids, Lafayette, IN and Rockford, IL are participating, it is not clear which other metro regions are holding contests.

    ^Went there tonight, found it.

Officially started my "training" tonight... Lucky for me, I was able to get the waitresses number (she's training to be a PT and lives right next to me). brb free pancakes

I'm preparing my angus though for the actual challenge day, I know I can take down 20-30.. but the fact IS that pancakes are starches, they become like cement in the stomach and it's going to be a difficult challenge. (I remember seeing Always Tryin attempting a pancake challenge.. can't remember if he beat it or not)

Funny thing was, I was done basically at 50mins lol! Here's a pic of what I had left at 57 mins. The batter was making me feel sick (all I could taste was butter from the 1/2 way mark), so took me 18min to finish this bit

In other news, went back to the burger place last night (new store of it) and the guy recognised my picture and asked if I was still going in the champions challenge with the motorbike prize.

Anyway he asked if I wanted to be the first person to try complete it twice as well...I am booked in next Wednesday to try it again, and then the 23rd again lol!

Furious Pete said this was very difficult for how heavy it was
    Also Adam Richman Failed horribly.
25-30 pancakes is not a problem i did it, but the problem was waiting for each and every individual plate. Always ask for a reorder the second they drop another plate off, so they keep them coming..

hey Erik - there's a food challenge in LA within little tokyo... it's some big bowl of rice and lots of sashimi... i think the time to finish is 45mins or an hour - if you can't finish i think the price of the bowl is $50?

25-30 pancakes is not a problem i did it, but the problem was waiting for each and every individual plate. Always ask for a reorder the second they drop another plate off, so they keep them coming..

TBHx2 we had a much better time in SD than LA when we traveled to the other side of the country - especially driving around was much more pleasant haha
