I remember reading in a book that, when it comes to bodybuilding nutrition is 70% and exersise is 30%. So I have been obssed with diet lot more then paying attention to learning proper forms of exercise.
Is it true ? Or Is it a myth ?
I can't remember the book name fully, but it was about beginning bodybuilding.
Thank you.

The question is kind of meaningless... it's like asking: is it more important to not smoke 3 packs a day or not get drunk every other night to live a long life?
Good nutrition and good fitness go hand in hand, so why not approach both to the best of your ability?
Questions like "which is more important" seem to only serve an attitude of one vs. the other, and it shouldn't be that way. Seek balance."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

Lets assume a hypothetical scenario:
We have a beginner gym-goer (noob gains are already made) who is put on a plan of overtraining and overeating, both to a "maximum"... lets say 3h fullbody/day, 10k kcal/day. Starting BF% is 20%.
A. After two weeks: we remove all food from the equation and put him on a water fast, but force him to keep up his lifting regime.
B. After two weeks: we make him quit lifting and tie him to the bed, while he is brute forced to keep eating like before.
The question: Which approach will build the better physique, A or B?
***** Bonus: Which approach will kill him the fastest?~ Feel free to PM me if you have any questions ~

Nutrition and training go hand and hand together. I'm sure if you take a look around your local gym you'll see countless of people that have been there for a while yet look the same year in and year out.
This is more than likely due to them not following a proper nutrition approach based on their initial goal. Add on to the fact of poor programming in terms of their training.
Now take someone who has their nutrition down based on their goal and is following some form of programming that's logical. This person is going to reap the benefits of both their nutrition and training. My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441
