That was just embarrassing. Brady overthrowing receivers and completing 44% of his passes. A secondary full of miscues that gave up several huge passing plays (and 368 yards to Alex Smith). A pass rush that was missing in action. A defensive line that couldn't stop the run game (169 yards to RB's). Amendola injured during the game. Hightower injured during the game. No Edelman, no Mitchell at wide receiver. Cooks only getting 3 completions (which he turned into 88 yards). Gronk being a non-factor. TD called back due to a penalty. Despite all of that still having the lead in the 4th quarter and giving up 21 points.
I for one am thankful that the undefeated pressure is off. The good news is that its still very early in the season. Adjustments will be made. New players will grow into the system and develop better chemistry.
Those calling for Brady's head just as they did 3 years ago against the Chiefs need to pump their brakes. Imagine Aaron Rodgers' defense giving up 42 points (including 21 of those points in the 4th quarter), then losing Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Davante Adams, then fans calling for his head for losing!Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

Just one game but that **** was embarrassing and hard to watch. People saying that we're spoiled as fans, but there's a difference between watching a team compete and lose, and just constantly ****ing up.
Anyways, still expect a SB appearance, they'll fix things. Didn't see any fire from Brady which was weird.

Chiefs are a hard team to play against. Their offense isn't conventional at all. Pitches to Kelce, then Hill, Conley, Thomas, Hunter. They're full of quick as **** guys that for the first half were running short routes then opened it up towards the end. Patriots defense isn't really suited to defend that, or at least they weren't, if they meet again I think it's another story. That being said, I think the Saints are a bit more conventional and the Pats should have an easier time dealing with them.
Brady is the main problem right now. Not saying he's old, he just needs to move on from Edelman, he put a lot of pressure on the defense by not being able to extend drives. McDaniels also sucked on play calling.
I think all of those problems get better each week, once Mitchell comes back I feel like Brady will develop an insane repertoire with him. I look forward to seeing him throw to Dorsett as well. Plenty of weapons on the offense.

Matt Light ‘Ashamed To Be A Patriot’ After Seeing National Anthem Protests...
http://www.necn.com/news/sports/Form...447716283.html
If Matt Light was still a member of the New England Patriots, things might have looked a lot different on the sideline Sunday afternoon during the national anthem.
The former Patriots offensive lineman took issue with nearly 20 players taking a knee during the national anthem ahead of the team’s win over the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium. Light went so far as to say he was “ashamed” to be a former Patriot.
“If you think it’s OK to take a knee during our national anthem and disrespect openly the national anthem,” Light told the Boston Herald, “you are wrong. I don’t care if you have a ‘but what about’ or a ‘it’s because of,’ that doesn’t matter.”
Light also said something like that wouldn’t have happened during his time with the club.
“As a guy that’s been there and helped set up the Patriot Way so they can walk in there and do what they do, it’s beyond disheartening. It’s the first time I’ve ever been ashamed to be a Patriot. And I promise you I’m not the only one.”
By doing what some Patriots players did Sunday, Light said they stepped out of bounds in a violation of the “Patriot Way” — or something like that.
“We’ve never been those people,” he told the Herald. “On the door going out it says, ‘Ignore the noise.’ It says, ‘Ignore the hype.’ It says, ‘Manage expectations.’ And it also says, ‘Speak for yourself.’ If that is not the Patriot Way anymore, then I am very disheartened and very upset. I’m also not saying I’ll never be a Patriot.
What I’m saying is I’m very ashamed.”

The owners know better than to make their money train mad (AKA: the players, 70% of whom are black). That's why they're going along with this nonsense. It mad me mad to see the Pats partake in this. Instead of booing, the fans should've just walked out of Gillette Stadium.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
