I know it's a **** measuring stick.
Martellus Bennett 40 yard dash - 4.68
Rob Gronkowski 40 yard dash - 4.68
There are a few reasons you shouldn't worry.
I. Martellus Bennett is actually another top 5 TE.
II. Malcolm Mitchell is going to really prove himself as a great WR, I wouldn't be shocked if he came up with a crazy end of the season. As good of a weapon the Pats have when it comes to stretching the field in years.
III. Dion Lewis/James White provide a lot of options on which way the offense wants to go.
IV. Run game is better than it has been in years.
I think there will be some adjustment time, but the offense will be better without Gronkowski. Inb4 shutout tomorrowLast edited by JotaroJoestar; 12-03-2016 at 01:06 PM.

People don't forget how Brady put the team on his back in 2006 with guys like Rachel Cadwell and the likes...

i can watch brady grind 24/7 to eek out ugly wins but the problem is our defense is chit. with gronk healthy you know 9 out of 10 times the O was capable of putting up 27+ points on any given sunday. i don't want to be a hyperbole but this season literally depends on the emergence of malcolm mitchell

I have, but for some reason those stats feel less correct when you add in that subtracting someone isn't the same as being properly prepared to be without them. I think this year specifically, we are equipped to handle his loss.
Offense will not be our problem. Garroppolo looked good without Gronk, Brady will be fine. Our pass defense on the other hand, is an absolute atrocity and Gostkowski is missing everything.Originally Posted by RogerSterling i workout for my health, dont feel the need to eat if i'm not hungry since i still get plenty of puss being the weight i am now.

Note: Sky isn't falling, team will get better and better. Pretty good defense at 12 in points, 9 in yards going into the week. As uneasy as Brady looked to pass in the first quarter, team still looked pretty good. I know it's a **** offense, but you pretty much allow 3 points and under 100 yards through 58 minutes.

Dola being stupid and not calling a fair catch (twice) = left the stadium with a cast
O looked weird and D look pretty good until that mistake by Butler.
Onto the Ravens; that is going to be a real test for this team!"Paper money is going away" - EM

It sounds pesky, but anyone getting fed up with the punting game.
44.2 yards per punt ranks 26th in the NFL.

#Patriots WR Danny Amendola suffered a high-ankle sprain in the win vs #Rams, source said. Plan is to make sure he's ready for the playoffs."Paper money is going away" - EM

Some silver lining... Gost was 4/4 field goals last game. Of course I would've loved to see us punch those in for touchdowns, but I have a feeling Gost will be as important as ever as we'll play a bunch of closes games due to the defense

Marty is good but he's not a fast stretch-the-field TE like Gronk is. Edelman and Dola are shifty but not fast either. Hogan is kinda fast. The key is going to be Malcolm Mitchell. If he can stretch the field then defenses might be honest. Otherwise they're going to play 10-15 yards from the LOS and condense everything down and make life very difficult for the offense.
Let's put it this way - I have Brady and Winston as my fantasy QBs, and I'm struggling on who to start...---GIVE-------------------------------

Hogan is fast but small so he won't be able to replace gronk down the field; Mitchell is a bit taller so he could prob help to stretch the field in some key moments.
Marty is ok, but I am not really that impressed with him... He is going to be 30 and "old" players gets worst as the season progresses so that is what has been happening to him (injuries, etc)."Paper money is going away" - EM

Like it or not, Gronkowski is a major blow to their Superbowl chances. It can still be done, but not unless our defense improves.

Their Run D is strong so if the weather is right I can see tommy throwing a lot; also, they CAN'T run the ball so watch how we play dime and zone the whole game.
My biggest fear is Flacid Flacco throwing deep, u know he is going to test our CB and Safeties often."Paper money is going away" - EM
