Jets/rex ryan have been really quiet this week. It looks like the media tried to stir sh.it up with Cromartie from what he said last season but that didn't really work either.
I guess that's what 2 loses in a row will do to a team. Maybe 3 will really shut them up.
kind of wish they brought back pat patriot logo..

They've only been really quiet because they know that if they were jawing a bunch and then lost a third on the bounce they'd just be a laughing stock.

this
the jets have ZERO meaningful wins this year, are on a two game losing streak with their last game being a complete mockery of their offense. if they talk shyt this weak about how they are the best and then lose in new england they will be the laughing stock of the NFL.

The Patriots defense hasn't been as poor this season as people make it out to be. I really think a healthy Haynesworth and Chung will make a world of difference, and I'm glad they are being careful with Haynesworth.
I'm not a big fan of Football Outsiders, but they had an article and rankings today that showed the Patriots defense has not been nearly as awful as people have been saying.
I think Riddley will get the most carries this week. This kid is looking to be a great pick so far, and we haven't even seen what Vereen can do yet. Shane Vereen can be an absolute beast as well.
As long as the defense is playing better as the season goes on, I'm not too concerned.

yeah ridley has looked good i agree. definetly psyched to see what vereen can do. he won the last practice player of the week award so who knows maybe with woodhead out he might have a few carries on sunday. based on when they were drafted you have to think the pats think vereen will be better so i'm looking forward to that. also hernandez being back because the combo of him and gronk is unstoppable

I will hopefully be going to the game Sunday, and all I know is that the Jets better prepare their angus. It's going to be a brutal dissection of their defense, and Haynesworth will be back to wreak havoc.
I think the Patriots will win big.

Pumped for today's game. Sending the Jets below .500 would be great!

also no woodhead but no one even said anything or noticed? he would make a huge impact against the jets.

you two need to calm the **** down. today was the defense's most impressive performance thus far and you even realize that they gave up about half of what they are averaging per game so far..
also they had a ****loads of three and outs, yes it was the jets but damn its been a ****long of time that we havent seen that.

Defensive backs are horrible. Serious flaws throughout the D though, I'm not even sure I like the playcalling all that much either, was expecting a much more aggressive approach this year, but we seem to be back to the read-and-react, and the personnel aren't executing that all that well, really.
Obviously Mayo is a huge loss, but I think we need to make upgrades in other positions.BRB' Projectile Vomitin'

I agree to an extent, but I mean the defensive line specifically, it's almost as if we're not even trying to get that much penetration, just fill the gaps, etc.

You guys overreact way too much about the defense. Is it great? No but it has been good enough to win games. Their only loss this year was to the 4th best offense in the league and if brady hadn't thrown 4 ints that game is another win.
Essentially their worst performance was against Miami at Miami in the first week of the season. But the pats defense has and will continue to improve over the season.

I'd like to see Mark Anderson get more snaps, he seems the only one capable of getting after the QB. Badly need to upgrade at safety too.
