This marks the 5 year anniversary of me lifting weights, but more importantly the cessation of my dissociation with society. I would like to make it special. I either complete my goals, or I'm made red.
The goals:
- Graduate from college
- Attain 270 lbs bodyweight
- Squat 495
- Bench Press 315
- Deadlift 635
The rules:
- If you post ITT and I go 4/5 or below you are required to neg me.
- I'll post a spoon pic of me at graduation.
- Weight will be my gym weight. I can bloat, carb up, do whatever. Bodyfat % is irrelevant. This # is special because it marks +100 lbs gained in 5 years.
- Squat must be to parallel - knee wrapsm, wrist wraps and belt are allowed. I can complete the squat in just sleeves if I choose to.
- Bench is touch and go. No spotter assistance. Lift off is fine. Wraps and belt are allowed.
- Deadlift will be strapless and belted. I can use any kind of straight bar. Knee sleeves are allowed.
If I achieve any of these BEFORE the 20th, they still counts towards the 5/5 total.
For reference - Nearly 5 years ago - 165 lbs at 6'9":

for reference i'm currently at:
3 classes left to graduate
254 lbs gym weight
420 squat (low bar, belted, sleeved -- ass to grass, actually lol)
275 bench (paused - tng gym pr is 295, 315 was just barely missed off the chest)
562 deadlift (fast off the floor, bit of a grinder at lockout though)

Tonsilbrah made it - he got well enough in time to psych me up for my first meet and be my coach lol! No lift offs, though. Valsalva maneuver was off limits.
He makes an appearance in the video I posted above in post #3 around 0:12 (the hi-five) and 0:30 (he slaps me on the back several times)
