What is considered better? To each individual that will differ on what THEY want in the formula.
Please read this regarding the BCAA Ratio:

I would opt for Xtend.. Why?
- 6 Years of awards (BCAA, Recovery, Glutamine Product of the year)
- Comes in 6 different Flavors
- Bonded CM, Electrolyes, BCAA's, Glutamine, and B6 to aid in performance, endurance, and recovery.
- Top 3 seller on bb.com for a reason the people love it and continue to swear by it. Give it a shot because most feedback if you use the "Search Button" shows that in multiple Xtend vs Modern threads that Xtend reigns supremee. Both are great products but its personal preference.

Sorry bud, there is no Glucose or carbs in Xtend, it is carb free. If that is what you are trying to say (spelling error). That would be false information. We actually took out 200g of Flavoring/Food Coloring in the new formula to aid in a more refreshing taste that has the product on 4 week backorder in our warehouse due to the overwhelming sales.

There are no carbs in xtend, and pretty sure you mean glucose :P (which if it was a carb in xtend, it would most likely be dextrose anyway).
That, and there's actually data behind the 2:1:1 ratio of BCAA's found in xtend, and no real independent research on the 8:1:1 ratio used in the modern BCAA's.MAN Sports Online Lead Rep and Sales

So everyone loves Xtend, but im still not convinced..
is it thatt much of a difference regarding size and strength gains, im not so worried about using it as an intra workout energy booster.. my pre does plenty
all that being said, should i just stick with the bulk leucine?
(wtf so funny powercage?.. thanks for the free samples btw!)

Out of those two the only option hands down is Xtend.
You will not see strength and size gains from a BCAA product btw.Type 1 Diabetic - Since age 15

Just bit the bullet and bought apple xtend and...it tastes like candy! haha. I dig it.
The Solution bro, your relentless backing helped sway me into getting this before the sample packs came out. Used it tonight for the first time and I liked it.
Thanks bro!Trust the Process

First of all, anyone who claims that you will get size and strength gains from Xtend or any free form BCAA product used intra workout is probably full of it. The science does not support that yet. There is one study that is not published that claims Xtend's older formulation gave amazing gains. The key is that study is not published yet. Many people would love to see that study published and subjected to peer review. Thus far Stoppani doesn't seem too interested in getting it published.
All that being said, you need to realize that Xtend is not just free form BCAAs. It has several other ingredients. One of those is cit.mal. There is beginning to be evidence building on cit.mal, but it is premature to make any definite statements such as those that we can make about something that has a mountain of science behind it such as creatine mono.
No. That seems to be a common misconception out there. If you only supp with leucine, it will probably result in a drop in valine and isoleucine concentrations. You can prevent that drop by making sure any supplemental leucine is accompanied by valine and isoleucine (a.k.a BCAAs).
