New Supplement (Amino BCAA) - Are they working?

I recently went to Europe for 2 weeks, and did not work out at all while there (I couldn't). When I got back, I decided I wanted to get back into working out as best as possible, so I went to my supplement store, and I got my usual whey protein and con-cret creatine.

The staff member here seemed really knowledgable, and we somehow go to talking and he recommended that I start taking this product (here: http://www.supplementsource.ca/v/vsp...%20400g-2T.jpg)

So, my first workout from being back, I did my regular chest exercises, took my creatine, amino bcaa, and whey. But after this workout, my chest hurt SO much. (When I say "hurt", you know what I mean. I mean it hurt in a good way, as if it were just worked out REALLY intensely).

Although, I don't really think that workout was that intense.. it was pretty normal, same as all my other chest days. Now, 4 days later, I still feel that pain in my pectorals, to the point where I am holding off on working my chest until that pain is gone.

What I'm wondering is, is this pain basically just essentially "noob gains" (or, rather, noob pain) from having been in Europe and not worked out? Or is this new amino bcaa stuff working some magic?

My other question is.. can you guys just give me your general opinion on BCAA's? Are they necessary? The guy at this supplement store seemed to really stand by them, and despite the 50$ price tag, I decided to give it a shot.

BCAA's = protein

i like bcaa but i use modern bcaa from usplabs. def not necasary but can help. its basicly just protein like the guy above said but it also can help with recovery. i mainly like them for a intra cortizone blocker with some quick absorbing carbs.
