    Questions about SS and recovery

my recovery sucks. I was inactive as hell, not having a job (reasons i cant state) and not having access to a gym or weights for over 3 years, so now when I do regular BW exercises, i get sore as hell. I actually almost fell down the stairs trying to walk down after 1 set of BW squats (only like 20, at that) but my strength isnt bad for a complete geek, I can do hella, but I think my muscle Endurance isnt good enough.
So would starting SS, while having a job, be a bad idea right now? Should i work on BW exercises more before moving onto SS?
My job isn't extremely taxing, but i worry it might hinder my recovery while still being used to not doing exercises that involve the lower body.
Lunges, and bw squats are the only thing that really gives me DOMS, even though i hardly do any it still gives me it :/ i could max out at like 40, do 20 and still have shaky knees for a day
also, I know i just asked about being able to do the program as is, but im an over achiever of sorts and feel like adding in some Bodybuilding exercises as well after my first 2 months or so.

    What id like to add:
2xX (never done them before) of wipers at about 75% max reps.
    2x20 of decline weighted crunches
    1x10 weighted hanging leg raises

Misc id like to hopefully add sometime If they're good for oblique definition:
    Oblique floor crunches
    Side Oblique crunches.

Start with just the bar or extremely light weight and move up slowly.
    Current / goal by September

    Deadlift: 500 / 520
    Bench: 315 / 330
    Squat: 475 / 500

I started with no bar and it still makes me not able to walk down steps properly, lol, I know you'll be sore no matter what starting SS, but in my case i figured it'd probably be way worse

DOMS will stop relatively quickly. Maybe a week or two and it won't be a problem at all. Just push forward.

After a few weeks you can add 1-3 sets of curls and 1-3 sets of tricep extensions after your workout on Friday. Pull-ups are another good addition.

You can add those if you want, but your abs will get worked enough with squats / dead lifts.

I was adding them in to focus more on tone, rather than strength. so would 2 sets be too much? or just enough to get some thicker, more defined abs and obliques (I know diet is the most important thing for visible abs, i just want them to grow since im a skinnyfat kid atm. no obliques is the main reason im skinnyfat)

There's no such thing as "toning" your muscles. It's false term that was made up. Sometimes if I'm feeling up for it, I do light ab exercises on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Like 2x8 leg raises and 2x8 twists. Don't get too hung up on these though, nor your dips, chin ups, pull ups, or bicep curls, as they are all only assistance work and should be treated as such. Your main focus while on SS is the squat, bench, deadlift, overhead press, and power clean.
    :)

I didnt mean toning in that sense, i meant just making them thicker, and adding more muscle mass on them.
I know the main lifts, and days, etc, I just wanted to know if i could add those.

Not really wanting the p90x body, I just want some good lookin Obliques and abs, which is hard to pull off with Just SS from what I've seen.

You get abs by having a lower body fat %. If you want to gain muscle mass, you have to eat in a calorie surplus, which means you won't have abs until you cut.

I tried stating this, but i must not have properly.
I know, I want more mass on my abs, i never said I want to gain mass while on a 110 calorie diet of air, water and occasionally a cracker.
My question was would doing those exercises help add mass, but still allow me to recover while on SS.
Those exercises being Wipers, Barbell twists, Decline weighted crunches, and weighted leg raises.

My overall goal is to start strength training, while getting in a bit of mass building on my core. then, once my SS training is done and im not longer making linear strength gains, or once i feel I've done enough of it, focus on doing a Push, pull, legs until I reach my overall goal.
Im not really in it for sports, or etc. Im in it because I've been called a fat slob long enough, and have never gone outside without a shirt on in the past 6 years because of it. So i just want to be able to be proud of the body i worked hard for, i dont have to have 19 inch pythons, just an overall nice build is what i am striving for.

    At the moment, at least.

Edit again: that wasnt a goal, thats more of a plan xD but my goal is at the end for the tl;dr
