Everyone says we have a sea of testosterone at this age, so how much muscle can we actually put on yearly with a good bulk and exercise program.

Teens don't have noteworthy testosterone levels compared to 25+ guys. It only starts to decline past 30. The real reason teens can gain so fast is because injury and stress is less of a concern.

ive heard great things about DAA.
And considering test levels in men are/have been declining in men annualy for the past 20 years, i dont think its ludicris to consider something to help boost test levels, even for teens who come in a lot of contact with BPA products for food/drinkl*** Misc CIGAR Crew ***(smoking avi sub crew)

This is just a warning to teens.. When you boost your testosterone with natural supplements ect. Your estrogen will rise as well to maintain homestatis.. So stack test boosters with natural ai's..
Don't tell me I'm ****ing wrong, a test booster gave me gyno and I have bloodwork to prove the rise in Estro.
And also, testosterone levels are 100% individual.. There are averages, but there will always be people with higher and lower levels as well.

Zma and trib. NEVER again.
The sad part is I noticed my nipples getting puffy but I thought it was water so I kept using them for another couple weeks.. The thought of my body increasing estrogen to match my test and balance hormones out never crossed my mind.
The effects of DAA and people not using ai's scare me.

Huh, thos two are what alot of people would consider "bunk" boosters, DAA however has blood test all over the net that shows it is an effective booster when test levels are lower than normal(everyone should note that previous generations had much higher test levels than we do).

Testosterone is not the only hormone responsible for increased rate of hypertrophy.
Growth Hormone, GH, is largely responsible. Many anabolic steroids contain GH. It is used to treat people with GHD.
During the teen years (puberty) your levels of GH are nearly as high as when you were a baby. This causes your bone growth, and also an increase in muscle mass.
Male teens have much larger amounts during puberty than females, because testosterone also indirectly increases secretion of GH in the body during puberty. This is why males have a delayed growth period, but they shoot up much faster and also gain much more muscle mass than females through puberty. This ultimately makes them bigger on average.
If you work out during this time, GH also increases the rate and amount of cell regeneration and reproduction. This means every time a teen full of GH shreds their muscles, they will gain more, faster than someone in their late 20s.
Your levels of GH don't suddlenly drop as soon as you have hit the end of noticeable "puberty" however, that is the only misconception I can see here. Your body is still growing into early adulthood, your face structure, such as your nose, chin and jaw will be massively different at 18 and at 21. You might get all of your height growth out of the way from 12-18, but your face will change more from 18-21 than it has throughout the rest of puberty.
This is not broscience, I have done my research and various extended projects at college into the endocrine system as well as gene loci (to look at when puberty and various things happen in your lifetime) and everything I said is fact, it has just been dummed down a little to make it an easier read for people who don't study biology.
Edit:
For the record, testosterone levels are at their highest in your early twenties. Not your teens.Last edited by Klc123; 09-03-2011 at 02:39 PM.

You know how I know you're a virgin?
Because you do not seem to know that when you bust a nut, you lose zinc.
ZINC-mag/b6
During periods of highsexual activity you body can become severly defficient of the mineral.. And supplying an abrupt, large supply of said mineral can cause a large hormonal spike...
Yeah, I was pretty confused at first too.. So it's okay if you cry.

There was a study done on 2000+ men in the boston area starting in 1987 and ending in 2004. On average the serum T levels decreased in these men more than 1.2% a year all the way through 2004. They also could not explain for these decreasing test levels with any sort of life styles(smoking) or health problems(diabetes, obesity[obesity can also be a life style i guess]), or from increasing age, as all men were seen to have this trend in decling T levels.
That is just for men, but women are having hormone problems in recent years as well. Girls are hitting puberty as early as 7 years old in recent years, and it is a rising trend.
There is no "conclusive" gov't funded study on the causes of this, but it doesnt take rocket scientist to do a little research. Chemicals that are used in plastics(either that come in cantact with food/drink or not), cosmetics such as nail polish, deodorant, etc. have plenty of studies done with them being exposed to animals(and few on humans from what i read, didnt find them tho)and creating problems with hormones and the reproductive and endocrine systems in mammals.
BPA for example was first created as a "fake" estrogen med, but when it was found to create unbrakeable plastic products(i.e. water bottles), big companys started to use it for that purpose.
phthalates are shown to have degenerating effects on male hormones in rats as well. These are usually the chemicals used in cosmetic prodcuts, and are shown to effect males more than females, decreasing testosterone levels, higher risk of prostate cancer, etc. The problem with this is most products have these, but companies hide them under the name "fragrance" on the ingredient list, as they are not required to release the ingrediance for the "fragrance".
I have only been doing research for the past few weeks, but what i found makes me think hard to say the least. I havent even looked up research for growth hormones that we pump chickens and cows full of so that we can harvest them at a quicker rate, but i am pretty sure these are doing some damage as well.*** Misc CIGAR Crew ***(smoking avi sub crew)

I honestly don't care what your EXTREMELY vague study says because, once again, it still happened. There are exceptions to everything.
Have you ever read the studies on Muscletech's products backing them? Yeah, gfto kid; you're taking this thread off topic.. You hit a dead end after that muscletech statement.
