My receivers blow. I have W.Welker starting and Deangello Williams as my flex. I was thinking of picking up AJ Green and starting him instead of
one of the following.
A.Collie@HOUST
Sidney Rice@SF
H.Ward@Balt
D.Driver vs NO"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment"

Flex position:
*RB Ryan Grant @ NO
WR Titus Young @TB
RB Michael Bush @ DEN
TE Tony Gonzalez @ATL
* - I have Grant active but he will be splitting reps so I don't know if I should keep him or not.
This is the offensive scoring for my league. (I am new to this.) What would this type of scoring be called so I can just refer to it later on? PPR?
Scoring for Offensive Categories
FG - Field Goals 3 points
Plus 2 points for a FG of 50+ Yds
FL - Fumble Lost, Including ST plays -2 points
Pa2P - Passing Two-point Conversion 2 points
PaInt - Passing Interception -2 points
PaTD - Passing TD 6 points
PaYd - Passing Yards 0+ PaYds = 1 point for every 25 PaYds
Re2P - Receiving Two-point Conversion 2 points
ReTD - Receiving TD 6 points
ReYd - Receiving Yards 0+ ReYds = 1 point for every 10 ReYds
Ru2P - Rushing Two-point Conversion 2 points
RuTD - Rushing TD 6 points
RuYd - Rushing Yards 0+ RuYds = 1 point for every 10 RuYds
XP - Extra Points 1 point
EDIT: This system is "Head-to-Head, Points Based System."THE PITSBURGH STEELERS WERE THE BEST TEAM IN THE AFC BUT THE DENVER BRONCOS HAVE THE BEST LEFT HANDED QUARTERBACK.

This isnt PPR becaause you arent getting a point for every reception. This is non ppr. Also, Grant is splitting carries but at this point he is the only one out of the guys you mentioned that will have a defined role in non ppr settings. Starks is a recieving guy so far and Grant will still get carries. Gonzo is an option, but again because you dont get points per rec then he isnt valuable unless he catches a TD and thats unlikely.
You have to start Forte this week if its PPR. You could probabl swap out Forte for Rice in this one in PPR, if not ppr then stick to what you have. Stafford.
just in this match up. You are going to be playing matchups all year with those 4 players

pretty sure that scoring is system is standard, however in my league (and i think most others) a passing td is worth 4 points instead of 6. it's not ppr however since i don't see anything on there for receptions, just 1 point for every 10 receiving yards
also i'd say go with grant for this week, i don't think they're going to do anything drastic week 1 and he is the starter, even if they'll be splitting the carriesain't nothin to it but to do it

EDIT: Accidentally, deleted my comment. Round 2 at this.
I think you're making the right call in Grant. Detroit is gonna unload on the Bucs, but Titus won't have a huge part in it this early in the season. Michael Bush is a backup and Tony Gonzalez (he plays for Atl, not against Atl) is a shell of his former fantasy worth and playing a tough Bears D. Grant may be splitting time, but he is their number 1 guy so go with him.
I'd also keep a close eye on Titus throughout the year, because if he plays well, there is a very good chance he will jump Burleson for the number 2 receiver spot, which is golden bc Megatron is gonna get double covered all day. The number 2 guy in that offense has it good."The best feeling in the world is knowing you've proven everybody wrong and you're doing the only thing you've ever wanted to do in life."

Here is the thing with the always start your studs- If you have someone like Beanie Wells vs Panthers you have to play that guy somehow. Rice's stats are bad against the Steelers, real bad, but you have to temper your predictions for him. He usually racks up 60 yards a game against the Steelers, what if he happens to punch one in? Thats an 8 point game in my league. Not the double digits I want out of my #1, but he is more likely to put those points on the board than any other player. Best is a great option in PPR leagues, but I still go with Beanie, then Rice and then Best.
