    bcaas not needed

    Hey! i was wonderings if bcaas are needed? i heard u get it from normal food and whey protein, and i consume around 200g of protein a day so that means i get plenty of bcass. would supplementing with bcass be useless for me?

    As you said, no need to supplement them when you're getting enough protein from your diet. Don't worry about them

    No supplements are "needed". That's why they are called supplements. But each has its benefits in the right scenario. I always supplement with BCAAs/EAAs intra workout.
    Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

    You're getting enough BCAA's daily if you're hitting your protein requirement. The only other way they would be beneficial is if you were training in a fasted state.

    A lot of people like to use them for the taste during their workout but they're definitely not needed if you get in enough through your diet. If you train fasted then that is the ideal time to use bcaas.
