    Neck surgery/ fusions

URL to pic of my MRI. I can't posts pics yet.

I've been having what feels like a bad crick in my neck for 2-3 months now. At first I just thought it was a problem with my mattress or pillow until I started having numbness going down my back.

The doctor said I have 2 bulged discs, kyphosis, and DDD throughout my neck. I've had a nerve block which didn't help at all. I'm suppose to meet with another doctor this week who is a surgeon.

I just wanted some peoples opinions that have had the surgery or may be familiar with it. Is it fairly easy to recover from? Will I be able to continue weight lifting afterwards? I'm only 20 years old so I really don't want this to get any worse or cause more problems down the road.
