Creatine Monohydrate Powder! What's The Best Way To Use It??

I just bought this stuff from GNC, which was highly recommended by many. Only problem is, I want to know the best way to use the stuff, since I'm an amateur. So maybe some here can help me out.

I workout six times a week, three of the days being weight lifting days, and the other three just abdominal days. So here's a few questions.

Should I take it before & after a workout, or just after?

I use Whey Protein normally after a workout. So if I take the Creatine after a workout, which should come first? Also, drinking both of them, will it cause a negative reaction in my stomach??

Is it best to mix it with water or some kind of fruit juice?

How often should I use Creatine Monohydrate? I've read mixed reviews. Some say to use it consistently, then some say take it for a certain amount of days, and a certain amount of weeks, then stop using it for a certain amount of days/weeks, etc. So that confuses me.

    Any help would be appreciated!

First you should probably workout more often instead of just doing 3 ab days IMO. Take creatine 5 grams of creatine monohydrate everyday whenever you want. Doesnt really matter when. Just intake a lot of water. I take half pre and half post but thats just me. I do not cycle creatine, but some do. Its really just a personal preference. So take it for as many days/weeks as you want. Just dont take more than around 3-5 grams and consume a gallon of water a day.

There is no such thing as a "best" way or "best" time to take Creatine.

It doesn't matter when you take it.. I don't even believe it matters how you take it.

It's a chronic effect, not an accute one.

Just taking it with water is fine. Easy and effective.

    Keep it simple!

I don't think I'm the first person to ask about this. I already search, but there's too much **** to go through. I just don't feel like spending any amount of time going through every single Creatine post on this forum.

As for the program, I'm on some beginners program, so for the time being I'm gonna stick with it, and see if it works out.

I don't think it matters a great degree but I have noticed that I feel a bit stronger if I take 5 grams about 30-60 minutes before my workout. Also have read multiple research that says taking creatine post-workout helps with glycogen uptake. So I take another 5 grams post-workout also. Some people think this is too much but I have been doing it a long time now and feel great. I do drink 3 gallons of water a day though. I take Skip La Cour's Mass Machine Creatine.

5grams after your workout simple as that. No need for loading. Works for me everytime.

    Talking Creatine powder

    Hi there,
    Another related question!
I take 5g of CREATINE powder before and 5g after my workout!

You will need to drink a lot of water as the headaches are true!

But what I was wondering is that taking to much? Or should it be okay?
I don't know I havent been gymming all that long.

I work out 5 times a week so I will be taking 50g creatine per 5 days!!!
    Is this okay!!!
