Alright ill going to tell my paranormal story now about this haunted house.

I found out about this house because a kid and his girlfriend went in the backyard for reasons I can't remember, and had a creepy encounter later that night. The guy and his girlfriend were sleeping and the guy was awoken by something and saw an old man apparently, but was too tired or drunk and feel right back asleep. A few seconds later he wakes up again because his girlfriend is screaming that there's something in the room. I wish i knew more about this story, but I don't

Now this story gets spread around and there's actually a website of haunted places in Massachusetts and this house is on it, this is what it says.

My two friends and another kid are going to smoke a blunt or something and they try to get this kid to go onto the property(this kid has no knowledge of the house). So they're walking and get to the house and they tell the kid to hold up and check out the house, he responds "no dude lets just keep walking" Now after they smoke or whatever my two friends walk back to their car and the one says to the other "we got too close"..he has a mind=blown moment because he felt the same.

This story gets spread around and my friend is curious who doesn't believe in this stuff at all. Now I'm a pussy when it comes to these things unless I have someone else with me who I know is more scared than me, but I agreed to explore a little bit with my friend. So me and this kid go with my two friends from the previous story, but these kids will not go onto the property so they watched from afar.

We get to the house and the they tell us "this is as far as we're going to go." I'm slowly walking with my friend on the driveway and I look back and ask the one kid to come, he denies. We were both silent the whole time and as we get to the side of the house I'm drawn into this weird hexagon window, and I could see a dim light in there, but had no clue where it was coming from. Now I turn my head forward which felt like slow motion when I think back and in the bushes to the right of us we hear a noise, like an animal running around in the bushes. At this point I'm terrified and I run back to friends screaming "**** THIS, **** THIS"

The other kid followed me and he said he would've continued if it wasn't for the weird coincidence, but he said he was more scared by the hexagon window with the light inside(no one lives there) When he said this I was like holy **** I wasn't seeing things, and we soon went home. I honestly feel like that "animal sound" was a warning to gtfo off that property.

When I went to sleep that night i was very scared and I was just waiting for that old man to haunt me or something so I was saying to myself alright lets get this over with I want to get scared to death and fall asleep already. But it never happened, but I swear I heard someone knock on my middle door, but I swear even more that I made myself hear a knock.

My friend who went with me was home alone and he has a creepy house (last owner died there or something) He's home just doing whatever still creeped out from what happened and he notices his cat is just staring at something and won't budge, just keeps looking. he calls to his cat, but doesn't respond. Then the cat looks at him and runs away. The end.

Any of you NJ guys ever check out Marlboro asylum? That **** is creepy as fuark and most of the buildings are unlocked. There's even a jail looking bulding except all the outside walls are just bars and exposed to the weather. If you go into the basement of it it's unfinished cells on the right where the block walls between were started but go halfway or less up and there's sand back in them. The first thing you see is a pentagram someone drew on the floor with candles at all the points and there's an old wooden wheelchair that's creepy as ****. There was one building we found old black and white patient photos that were nuts. There's tunnels too that connect most of the buildings. Never found a way into them but there's supposedly cells down there that were for the violent criminally insane.

I talked to a dude that used to work night shift in a building that was New Hope Rehab and they'd hear running on the 3rd floor at night. The 3rd floor was only offices and empty after 6 pm and they could never find the source of the running but it happened all the time.

sorry im so late to this thread but this story reminded me of a story i heard very recently(2 weeks ago). about my sister's friend(hes 40). anyway he used to be a security guard for a penitentiary. he got called to guard this old hospital because the previous people who were to guard it said they weren't going back there. so he said well alright, ill do it. btw the power to this old hospital has been completely cut off. no wires attached to it anymore. anyway his first night he sets up in the main lobby where there is a desk where he stationed to guard at. across his desk is a clear view to an elevator. he got his shotgun, and ar-15(im not sure on the exact guns). his first night there he is just reading his book and mainly he is half alsleep. at exactly 3:17 he hears a buzzing sound and he looks up and sees the elevator's lights are on and the numbers are coming down to his floor. when the elevator hits his floor, the doors open. he just stares at the door with the gun in his hand waiting for something to come out. nothing did and the elevator closes and ascends back up. hes wide awake the rest of the night.

well he is suppose to guard their for awhile. so the next night same situation he is set up at the desk. every hour he walks around and patrols the area. hobos and crackheads loots the place that is why he there guarding it(guess i should of said this in the first paragraph). anyway same time, 3:17 he hears the buzzing sound and looks up to see the elevator's lights are on again. the elevator hits his floor and doors open. he hears voices this time he looks around grabs his weapon but he can tell the voices are coming from the elevator. he stares and nothing happens the doors close and the elevator goes back up again.

next night same setup. 3;17 am comes again and he hears the noise and sees the lights come on. the elevator hits his floor, he gets up and tells himself hes going in there this time. he wants to see where this elevator goes. he asks himself am i gonna meet satan or something? well the doors don't open this time. then it goes back up without openeing. this went on for months. everynight at 3:17 am the lights would go on. he got tired of it and decided to guard from his car from then on. they eventually got a trailer for the site to guard from.

this was before cell phones and when video cameras were not affordable so he couldn't get any evidence. but he sticks to it. the story is missing some spots but that was because he told me when we had 10 beers in us and at around 1;00 am. so my memory of the exact words of the story is a little off. but this sotry reminded me of ops post so i had to post it.

also just thought I'd add my story to this, even though I've posted it a few times in other threads but I figured I might as well.

When I was like 11, my family and some friends had a beach bonfire that went really late. Sometime around 11-12 at night I got bored and was just looking around at the water and rocks and such. Then on top of a cliff not too far away (few hundred feet), there was what looked like a person with super long hair just sitting towards the edge of it. So I was just looking and after a few minutes it stood up and took a few steps backward. Then after a few more seconds, it ran towards the edge and jumped like 40 feet out into the water, no exaggeration. When it hit, the water all around that area turned super bright green, even though it was night and all the other water was dark, that one spot was glowing for almost 10 minutes, and that's when people started noticing. It's been years and I still remember it all vividly and still don't have any idea wtf it was.
