They are notorious with their xanthines....the 1,3 and the xanthine in the name ( hey at least its the right chemical name and not made up, haha). 1,3,7 trimethylxanthine....it says methyl, now. Also, one time the owner cut in front of me and our CEO at the salad bar without saying Excuse me, so I now will go out of my way to correct, and or inform people of these things whenever possible. Just facts...no hatin'

08-17-2011, 08:51 AM #9VPX accomplished what scientists have been trying to do for 47 years -- a water stable creatine beverage that does not convert to the creatinine under conditions of high heat and acidityResearch in the VPX laboratories suggested that when subjected to high temperatures and acid conditions, creatine monohydrate converts rapidly to creatinine. BANG! on the other hand was the epitome of stability.~

To me it looks like they're labeling phosphocreatine as a creatine, which I thought it was (minus a methyl group, plus a phosphate group.)My understanding of pharmacokinetics and chemistry in general is rudimentary at best.
Please explain how it would behave differently in the body and not raise Cr levels?Yes, my good man, I'll have the milk steak, boiled over hard, and your finest jelly beans...raw.

My bad, I thought Creatinol-o-phosphate was this per this: http://blog.bodybuilding.com/deserus...-not-creatine/
But now I understand, I thinkYes, my good man, I'll have the milk steak, boiled over hard, and your finest jelly beans...raw.

No, I mean seriously, it doesn't sit well with me. Makes me feel very uneasy.
Maybe the "BANG" is suppose to act as the creatine?
NO Hype "Hello, is this VPX Customer Serivce?
VPX "Yes it is, how may I help you?"
NO HYPE "I was looking over your ingredient profile for your product BANG, and I noticed there is no actual creatine in there?"
VPX "BANG has creatine in it sir"
NO HYPE "But COP is not creatine"
VPX "BANG has creatine sir"
NO HYPE "But they aren't the same compound"
VPX "BANG"
NO HYPE "Excuse me?"
VPX "BANG BANG BANG"
NO HYPE "I'm not following"
VPX "BANG"
