So, I didn't beat my 13 minute mark like I wanted to....

I smashed it! I did so much better than what I thought I did. I thought I ran it slower compared to my other times, but come to find out I ran it in 12 minutes and 31 seconds! 55 second improvement over our last run and an almost 2 minute improvement in 2 weeks.. I'm so pumped up and I feel awesome.

Here is a break down of tonight's action:

1 scoop of Crimson Punch Juggernaut
1 mile run/walk for a warm up - 1 minute 30 seconds of running and 60 seconds of walking.
    1 mile run - 12 minutes and 31 seconds.

    Juggernaut's performance

    Energy = 9/10
Focus = 10/10 I was dialed in and I was going to be happy with anything just under 13 minutes.
Endurance = 10/10 I wanted to keep going after I was done celebrating with my wife. We shared the same goal.

This is the first time I've done this workout, and do my arms feel BLASTED, and it didn't take them too long to feel that way either. I can see how and why this program helps with conditioning, haha!

2 Scoops of Crimson Punch Juggernaut Pre-Workout.
6 scoops of flavored BCAA's in 2.2liters of water pre, intra and post.
2 scoops of lemonade flavored whey post.

I felt great the entire workout, thank you Juggernaut! I really wanted to keep going, but my arms eventually became numb and I wasn't sure what was going on there, haha! I had to wait about 30 minutes to type this out because they still didn't want to move. I think I used "The Force" to move the weight on that last drop set.
Hope you dont mind, but I'm totally stealing this! Looks pretty intense..

Thanks Gents! We had a crazy busy night tonight at the restaurant, but in the back of my mind I was thinking about workout direction and I think I came up with some pretty cool ideas to further the experimentation.

    Dialed In

This morning was legs and back. This is my favorite day, but it's hardest to get going, haha!

    Supplements

7 Scoops of flavored BCAA's in 2.2liters of water - Sipped on pre, intra and now post
2 Scoops of Crimson Punch Juggernaut

    The Workout
    ---Legs---
Chair Lunges - 15 each leg
    Calf Raise Squats - 15
Super Skaters - 25 each leg
Step Back Lunges - 15 each leg
Side Step Lunches - 15 each leg
Wall squats - 10 seconds at 90 degrees, 10 seconds at 65 degrees. Alternate for one minute. These BURN!
    Dead lift Squats - 15
Single-Leg Wall Squats - 10 seconds each leg, alternating. Total time of 1 minute These burn even more!
    Sneaky Lunges - 20
    Chair Salutations - 10 second hold x 5
Toe Roll Iso Lunges - 25 each leg
Groucho Walk - 32 steps total
Calf Raises - 15 slow, 10 fast each direction. Feet at straight angle, turned out, and turned in.
80/20 Sieber Speed Squats - 25 each leg

    ---Back---
(Note: All reps were performed with a resistance band, with a nice iso. hold)

This was performed as a super-set and I did it twice.

    Reverse Grip Chin-Ups - 25
    Wide Front Pull-Ups - 25
    Closed Grip Overhead Pull-Up - 25
    Switch Grip Pull-Up - 28

The first super-set had a nice burn to it, the 2nd set was hurting!

    ---Core---
    75 Standard Crunches
    25 Reverse Crunches
    25 Oblique Crunches per side.

    Juggernaut's Performance
    Energy - 10/10
    Focus - 10/10
    Pumps - 8/10
    Endurance - 9/10

Juggernaut performed awesome again today! This week has been one of the hardest I've worked yet! I'm hoping the scale tells the story on Tuesday. If the weather clears up, there will probably be another run this evening, if not, a fun(nosrs, pretty dull) indoor bike ride! I was telling the Olympia trip winner WildBill that I need a scrolling background for days like today.

The first super-set had a nice burn to it, the 2nd set was hurting!

    25 Oblique Crunches per side.

    Juggernaut's Performance
    Energy - 10/10

    Pumps - 8/10
    Endurance - 9/10

Juggernaut performed awesome again today! This week has been one of the hardest I've worked yet! I'm hoping the scale tells the story on Tuesday. If the weather clears up, there will probably be another run this evening, if not, a fun(nosrs, pretty dull) indoor bike ride! I was telling the Olympia trip winner WildBill that I need a scrolling background for days like today.

That's a good idea Marty. I've been thinking about adding some weights to my pull ups/chin ups and was thinking about the best way to do this - very cool!

It's for my Sports Management class. I have to create an athlete who has had high expectations both on and off the field, but has fallen short. I'm doing a professional football play who's on the anabolix, likes to pick fights and like to just hit people.

2089?!? I'm always in awe at your volume.

I know you use to take more than 1 scoop of Juggernaut, were you able to drop down to one scoop when you started to stack the Carno-Cre with it?

Yeah, I ramped up to 2 scoops for awhile, but adding the carno I figured I could just do 1 soop of each and get a good creatine saturation.

    ---Mission Statement---
Almost this time last year, I had some blood work done, and I decided I needed to make a change. My goal is to gain my health, prevent medications and a complete recomp. I started my journey New Year's as a promise to my wife, my son and most importantly myself. I started at almost 280lbs, the heaviest I've ever been. After messing around with calories and different intakes, I finally found my sweet spot. Since the mid-April, I've lost 35lbs.

    ---The Path---
Due to my living circumstances, I workout at home. For my resistance training, I follow P90X with PowerBlocks, I'm doing the Couch 2 5k program with my wife, and I also do other various things such as ride on the stationary bike. My training history is not very extensive, but the past couple weeks has been the first time I've ever used dumbbells. Throughout High School Football training, we used machines and lots of barbells. So least to say, if you need me to lift up the back end of a garden tractor, I can do it. BUT! if you need a jar of pickles open...you're going to starve! So, just ignore the current lack of weight that I'm using, I'm getting there! I also find it VERY important to have tip-top form, than to lift heavy amounts of weight. So If I'm having trouble with movement and not getting good, clean reps, I'm not scared to drop the weight to make sure I have the best form that's possible.

Within this log, I will share my workouts, Infinite Labs supplementation and also rate these supplements when I use them.

    STAY TUNED
Hey Justin... Thanks very much for the link on the codes, I booked marked it right away, lol. I really appreciate it bro! Anyway, Great to hear your a fellow Michigander as well. I was born in Detroit, and have grew up in and around the Metro Detroit area all my life! Although I am no stranger to the U.P. Heh !!! Most all my relatives live up there. I used to spend almost the whole Summer up there when I was a kid. It is a Gorgeous Copper Country for sure!!!

I am also looking forward to following your progress as well!!! ...Now reading your stats, Congratulations on loosing 35 pounds so far!!! Awesome Work bro!!! Hey, I have never tried the P90X before...Although I hear it is An Awesome workout!!! I used to do the Billie Blanks Tae Bo workout. Back when VHS was more popular too lol. I will...STAY TUNED !!!

    Thumbs up

    Hey guys. Nice log here.

John - I assume this will take place instead of the bodygroup? Which brand of flavored BCAA?

Justin - 35 pounds! Good deal. Glad your wifey is working along side of you. I have some original powerblocks and love them. I will probably forget but would you mind describing the non-traditional exercises you do?
