i do all 3 and suck at all of them.

Misc thread briefly interrupted....
Squats
Work to 335 X 1
*add belt*
375 X 1
Bench
Work to 270 X 3
255 X 4 (first 2 paused)
235 X 5 (first 2 paused)
Band Skull Crushers - 3 X 8-10
Wanted 3 reps on squats but I blew my wad on 335 by being an idiot and not belting up. Rep PR on bench so I actually think I'm going to be able to at least make a run at 300 @ the meet. I'm going to take a couple days off and probably bench on Friday and push deads to Saturday
Side note: I was a little ticked when I got home, but for his homework, my son drew a picture of me and wrote 2 sentences for it. "I Like dad." "He is nise."

I just figured I'd go open class because if I want 165 novice, I might be the only person in the class.
I don't plan on winning/losing based on other people anyway, I just wanna break 1000. If someone beats me 1002, or the closest guy to me totals 800, it won't really make much a difference other than bragging rights when were drinking beer after the meet

I hope. I really need a 380 on squat (380/280/540 = 1200) but 400 or more would just be a HUGE boost to my total

I think I started at like 250 X 3 when I switched from 5's for my heavy set and I have been able to ride out 5 pounds per week for a month now. I've been surprising myself with the progression and it has given me an even bigger hate for overhead (like I needed any help with that)Last edited by NC_Tarheel; 03-07-2012 at 06:25 AM.
