    Refueling the Diesel - Attempt #2

    Quick Summary

    As a teenager I was always overweight.. I was always athletic for my size, but I was definitely overweight, earning the nickname, "The Diesel". The whole purpose of this log is to continue my progress as well as increase my athleticism.

    I am currently being recruited to play college baseball and I want to use this log to gain knowledge as well as valuable advice from others that can help me achieve a healthier, leaner, and stronger body.

    I am currently 6'4, 205 pounds, and cutting with a deficit of roughly 15 percent of my BMF expenditures. I have four weeks left on my cut and then will begin a slow, but hopefully very successful bulk.

    My macros are approximately 205P/305C/95F, but will fluctuate daily based on my expenditure. You will definitely be seeing plenty of sweets, my favorite being cheesecake

    Summary: First off, I am very excited to start this log. I hope I can get a fifth of the traffic some of the more popular logs on bb.com get. Regarding today, what a day. I work at my local gym so today was a pretty slow day. Talked to a couple of my favorite members, but nothing much than that. I got in a pretty solid leg workout, but I was completely worn out. I attended a baseball showcase down in North Carolina this weekend and was still miserably tired from driving 10 hours Saturday night/Sunday morning straight through to get home (Indianapolis) for mass and work. I have a carrot cake in the oven right now that I made for my mom thanking her for taking off work to get me down there. I start my senior year on Wednesday so I am not too pumped for that either. Our new baseball coach was introduced today so I did have a meeting to go to regarding that. However, I plan to just enjoy my last year and keep my grades up for college. Tomorrow I am going on a campus visit for baseball and the coach is taking me to lunch. Probably won’t get too many shots of the eats tomorrow, but hopefully all goes well with the visit.-Diesel

    I have done really well on this cut regarding my sweet tooth, but I feel like the BMF helped me realize how much I burn, and cutting at 3k gives me plenty of room to add in dessert.

My main concern besides gaining functional strength for baseball will be building my RC back up from injury. Now I am off to make my lunch for tomorrow because senior year starts at 7:35 AM. Don’t know if I should be excited it is finally here, or pissed off that I have to wake up at 6. The carrot cake temptation was just too strong. I can’t keep making things that high cal. I mean there is 1 and ½ cups of canola oil alone! I got some solid looks at lunch today when I whipped out the cheesecake . Other than that, very busy day. BnJ sale, 4.99 per pound of top sirloin, so it was a damn good grocery visit. 237 to be exact.. Then went to the cages to hit and pitch, then played tennis with the girlfriend and her sister and dad. I will be going up on curls next week, too easy . I really want to gain a solid amount of muscle as this is a crucial time for me regarding recruitment. Other than that, just some basketball, cooking, and grocery shopping today.     Subbed and in on this. You should take it easy, though, with your workouts since it's your last year of high school and all. My senior year was just last year, starting freshman year of college in a few days and nervous as anything. But really, senior year is kind of your last chance to goof off with your friends without the future looming too closely. Yum, AP Chemistry. I hope you haven't tried any AP Physics courses; I went from on-level straight to AP Physics C Mechanics and Electromagnetism, and that really kicked my a*s. Calculus isn't so bad, though.
