I only do 1 excercise 3 sets for each side. Why do people do 2-4 excercises for biceps but 1 for for side delts?
Any science to this?

I do:
3 Sets of Military Press
3 Sets of Seated Dumbbell Press
3 Sets of Lateral Raises
3 Sets of Facepulls
3 sets of Lying Incline Rear Delt Rows.
So 15 sets all together for my shoulders. In addition to being an amazing body builder (LOL), I'm also a rapper.

I believe not all muscles should be fully developed, or trained the same way. I believe all muscles groups r unique and should be trained as such. That being said shoulders have 3 tiny muscles. I dont directly train front delts often since they are easily developed and involved in all presses. So after I do presses i do side and rear laterals, because those are the heads that look impressive developed. I usually do between 9-14 sets for delts. 2-4 sets of presses, 3-5 sets aimed at the medial head( medium grip upright rows and side lats), and 4-6 for the posterior head.
