Vegas Basics/Tips (if you plan on going to Vegas gtfih)

I'm in Vegas about three times a year, but it's for work, so I never really get to do anything but dinner and a little gambling. I'm heading back on the 22nd. I do like me some craps though.

I know how to play craps but I just don't feel comfortable inserting myself into the crowd around a table. Wish I had more balls to do so.
Oddly enough, I have no issues with inserting myself into a blackjack table even though I think it ****s up the shoe and whatnot.

Especially when I tend to bet Don't Pass

Just walk up to an open spot and throw your money down. There was one time I ordered a ****ing Domino's pizza to my craps table. Dead serious. lol

This... the first few times, I pretty much just bet the pass line until I felt more comfortable at the table but the camaraderie is what makes the game so much fun, just get in and go.

Edit: WeekndOrNah, didn't see you mostly bet Don't Pass, the darkside can be fun, but it does take a little more balls since you'll be getting some dagger stares of death from some of the people, just don't celebrate too much when you win since everyone else is loosing.

I srsly giggle at the suits, most the time they look cheap and uncomfortable. Dress normal.

I love living here in Vegas though, depends what you do for work but a lot of people come and go leading to a lot of opportunity to get promoted. I work at a Caesars property and am currently working into valet.

As far as shows I've said it before and I'm waiting for another miscer to go, is Absinthe. In the tent infront of Caesars.

As far as team Mlife vs Total Rewards, unless you spend 50k/yr at one or the other, it doesn't matter. Play a table game, ask them what you get for joining and they might give you $20 free play..... And standard incentive is like $1 off buffet or something.

Don't think you're gonna get anything comped for joining IMO.

Currently lifting at Lifetime by GVR. Angus was not peppered for their monthly fee but whatever it's super luxurious and a ton of fitness sloots are always there (most likely strippers). Nicolas Cage was there the other day on the treadmill reading a script lulz

Go to the Mirage buffet instead.

Always hear this and it makes me laugh. I guess if you don't mind getting ready, enjoy lounging around and not being embarrassed bringing a girl back to a **** tier hotel room; go for it. If you can afford to stay at a nice place? Do it, it adds a hidden, positive element to the overall feel of the trip.

This. I stayed the Luxor with my brahs and I didn't plan on spending a lot of time in the hotel but we ended up spending a good amount of time there just relaxing or drinking. Nice hotel is definitely worth it.

Srs, spend the money to stay closer to mid strip, strat is far from everything plus it sucks

And lol at body English. They had more cops working security there then i saw in the rest of the town last time I was there. Pretty sure we just randomly went in there while we were at hard rock gambling, did a 360 and walked out.

Out of topic but while I was @work the other night (Vegas club) some girl threw up on the floor, the porter comes to clean it up, (they spray some powder on the vomit so irs easy to clean, I saw a drunk bish get on the floor and shove the powder/vomit up her nose... she though it was dope ...Grossest thing I've ever encountered lmao

i've already been to bacchanal, definitely wasn't worth the $50 i spent.

The only reason why i'm going to the buffet is to eat their crab legs and prime rib. The Aria/Mirage buffet has crab legs for lunch at only $24

Even the most expensive buffets aren't worth it IMO. Unless you're spending big bucks in the super expensive strip restaurants, the best restaurants are not on the strip.
Restaurants worth going to off strip, however I do love mon ami gabi for the price and if you want to spend some more you cant miss Bouchons the restaurant not the bakery.

i guess my point is..if youre only going to be in the hotel at night to sleep, there isn't a problem staying in a "decent" hotel. the only relevant positive for the other hotels is they are closer to "the action". but i guess if youre one of those ppl that stay at hotels just to SAY "yea..im at the Bellagio" then go for it.

i guess it depends who youre going with and your intentions for the trip.

I dunno, if I was strapped for cash, I'd book a "normal" hotel (say, Hyatt Place out by Hard Rock) or something rather than Circus Circus. Just walking through that place gave me hives.

Go to jack Colton website and create a username. All kinds of peeps look for table splits in the meet up section. You'll find multiple options.

We are going the week leading up to memorial day. (Wed-Sunday). Got flights for $360 and room at Balleys was comped wed-fri, It's $280 for saterday.
