    Question Can you seated Dumbbell-Curl half your own bodyweight??

    As the title says, can you seated dumbbell-curl half your own bodyweight??
    And if so for how many reps/sets?


    I weigh 63-64KGs, dumbbell-curl 26KGs (5reps x 3-4sets per workout), and so i personally am still 6KGs off away from being able to DBC half my own boydweight!
    (Plus im consistently trying to gain weight, so by the time i can DBC 32Kgs il probably weigh above 70KGs myself)


    But im just asking out of curiosity of how many on here can actually Dumbbell-Curl half their own bodyweight??

    damn in no way do i think i could DB curl a 110 lb, but im also still a fatty. get up to 60s for maybe 6-8 reps now but form starts to sacrifice and seated id guess id need to lower weight around 10%.
    Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

    Nah i meant holding/using ONLY 1 dumbbell at a time, but that dumbbell weighing 1/2 your bodyweight.


    When i curl i only hold 1 dumbbell in my hand and do 5reps with it, rest for around 1minute, then switch the dumbbell to the other hand and do 5reps with that hand.

    Absolutely. Not sure how many repetitions though. Definitely multiple.
    Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

    I currently weigh 64KGs (141lbs), so the dumbbell weight of 26KGs (58lbs) is only 41% of my bodyweight, although i intend to hit being able to curl half my own bodyweight within the next 3-4months.

    I on the other hand regularly make it my goal to curl half my bodyweight. When I realise that this means 60kgs I give up and go and do something more productive before I get badly injured!

    I currently weigh 64KGs (141lbs), so the dumbbell weight of 26KGs (58lbs) is only 41% of my bodyweight, although i intend to hit being able to curl half my own bodyweight within the next 3-4months.

    Very nice op. How about a video of heavy tricep kickbacks next?

    ummm, sorta looks like a half baked combo of a conc. curl and seated curl. not sure what the upper arm flaring out to the outside is doing besides adding unneeded stress to the elbow joint.

    never seen a curl like this to be honest.

    id be more worried about adding some size to dem arms.
    Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

    As how else would you do a bicep curl apart from curling the dumbbell weight from your lap upto your chin?? (So elbow going from 180degrees to a 90degrees angle)
